It is Championship Sunday here at the Open at Tallahassee Open sponsored by Visit Tallahassee. Matty O comes in with a slim 3 stroke lead but he knows there is an “x” on his back as some of our sport’s young superstars are thirsty for a big A-Tier win along with a sizeable paycheck. Let’s watch how this final round of action plays out here at the famed Tom Brown Disc Golf Course.

  1. C2 putting. It was solid but , I been working on distance driving so much lately. My putts feel weak and I over compensate and miss left or the just hit cage. Anyways they used to be lasers so I need that back before April 22 for my first open tournament.

  2. SC Boys reppin!!! I'm a solid Braeden Sides fan, let's get it my dude! Can't help but love Matty O tho

  3. I haven't been making lead cards because I don't have someone like Terry Miller filming me. If I knew there was a chance to be on thediscgolfguy's coverage I would make sure I do everything I could to be on that card. I don't know how your alarm got set to 1 AM instead of 10AM…

  4. In regards to the getting held back from lead card, DISTANCE!! I just recently made it over the 900 hump to MA2 and that means playing long pads. Need some Double G jerky to boost my drives!

  5. It's only a matter of time before 100k subscribers. This coverage is too good!

PS – I miss Silas commenterry. Just Terry is pretty great though 🙂

  6. Cool seeing Braeden out there playing, local kid here and i guess he got sponsored so thats dope! Was wondering why i havent seen him much out here at the home course!

  7. Happy birthday Braeden. I enjoyed the GG jerky check in. For my next tourney I’ll need good putting. Cheers 🎉

  8. The main thing that is holding me back from the lead card is the fact that I haven't been reincarnated as Paul McBeth, Garrett Gurthie, Brodie Smith, (the list continues!) yet………

  9. Thanks TDawg. You gotta enter tourneys if you want lead card. Maybe that's keeping me back

  10. Well first off, If I'm gonna get on lead card, I cant be sitting on my butt here watching people play, I have to get out and practice more! I have played a couple non sanctioned events but mostly I'm a Rec player. I did get my PDGA Number though finally in October, only took 17 years, lol! #237323

  11. the hunt for lead card means stay bogey free like Matt has most of his rounds. Putting remains the key ingredient. Make putts like I can during the week.

  12. On Hole 7 1st throw I cannot believe no one clipped those right side trees! That was quite the illusion from the camera lol

  13. Walk from 4 to 5? of COURSE we enjoyed that. If you don't enjoy that you're not watching this. 😎 And YES! Braeden's spit-out on 7 was one of the ugliest ever seen. Not sure, even after slo-mo, how that came out of the basket. That stuff is mentally debilatating usually. Man that had to be tough.

  14. I have to say I love the between hole conversations. Also matty o is one of the pros I’d love to have a round with some day

  15. Damn, i thought Silas would be joining you for your R3 coverage, would've been fun to have his commentary on his own play. Great as always on your own though!

  16. Lead card isn’t in reach for my next tournament, but putting and mental discipline are the things that I expect to give the best effort to payoff ratio. Actually scheduling a next tournament would go a long way as well. I don’t think that I have anything on the calendar yet.
