Rory spoke to the media after finishing top 10 at the Travelers Championship at TPC River Highlands. He was not a fan of the extremely low scores including Keegan Bradley’s winning score of 23 under par, and attributes the lack of difficulty to the equipment/distance debate that has become prevalent in professional golf.

  1. So when will Rory be happy? Please get over yourself , he is a big reason why I watch Liv and if they go away then nothing . He,s not Jack Nicholas, Arnie, Phil , Tiger , or even Sheffler. Go back to Europe tour or the Asian tour. What a cry baby he is

  2. We are waiting for a statement from the USGA regarding Rory's questionable drop at The US Open.

  3. Say what you want, but IMO Rory is correct when discussing the effects of technology in golf, and how it has 'emasculated' formerly good tests of golf.

  4. Last week he said golf courses should be easy so he can make lots of birdies and make himself look good

  5. Did McIlroy really say this? The golf course is the same for everyone so it is irrelevant how easy it is to score on. Would he prefer if they were playing on a course that was 10000 yards long with fairways that were only 15 yards wide and 18 inches of rough? Also lets not forget this is still an entertainment business and the fans like to see their favourite players making birdies. Maybe the whole PIF buying out the PGA tour has twisted his brain? He clearly needs to get a grip.

  6. Now rory is being a flunky for golf media when he hasn't won since since and still getting paid to be that flunky for golf media! Only the winners should be allowed to talk about golf and the rest go to the range!😅😂😊❤

  7. If Rory don't like the courses here go back to your homeland and play for shackles.

  8. Rory you are talking BS. If it was so easy, why didn't you win. Bradley hasn't won for a long time. Now he's back. Just say well done. The hard work has paid off. Thank the green staff. And move on.

  9. It might play shorter with the players hitting the ball longer, but that doesn't change the fact you still have to out play everyone else to win.
Rory shouldn't complain when you play on a shorter course that brings more players into the hunt. I prefer not lengthening any of the courses, just bring the fairways in and let the rough grow higher. Then the real shot makers and putters will win. Golf shouldn't be about who hits the ball the longest wins. They already have a long driving contest.

  10. if they restrict the ball, that will give him an advantage , as he hits longer than most others.

  11. He would be singing a different tune if he won. But he doesn’t win.

  12. He's absolutely right scoring that low isn't good. 10 or 12 under is about where you want the winning scores to be.

  13. He’s right. When he speaks people should listen instead jump down his throat.

His caddy makes more than most pros because he’s nearly always performing at a high level without maximum effort.

The Travellers was mind numbing, awful spectator event. At one point -30 looked realistic, joke.

  14. Golf snobbery at it's best, total disrespect for the winner then, who by the way is a major title winner, If only Rory would put as much effort into winning Golf titles for his fans as he does with his outspoken remarks, he would be a Legend

  15. So many Professional players underscored …a record for so many under par in the final day ….even K. Bradley didn’t chocked and won the tournament…..so yes Rory is right in that sense….he didn’t win but finished at the top ….again.

  16. If it so easy then he should have won. Its the same crap Brooks Koepka said about the US open. Everyone plays the same course.

  17. Translation: “I hate when I don’t play well on a course that is easy, because then I don’t have a good excuse for not playing well.”

  18. I love a guy like Rory who says the silent part out loud. Brutal honest is refreshing to hear.

  19. Still waiting for a statement from the USGA on the incorrect drop Rory received at the US open. Not sure how to play my drop in the future. D.Scarano I’m a 4 , is that low enough to care about how to take a drop when I’m playing this weekend?

  20. Haha who cares what the score is if it was that easy why didn’t Rory shoot 30 under 🤷🏻‍♂️

  21. Rory is a useful idiot in the eyes of the PGA. He’s always parroting the latest narrative from his overlords. He’s a washed up superstar, who’s game hasn’t kept up with the competition. There is a saying in golf, “Drive for show, putt for dough.” Until Rory can relearn how to putt, he’s got no chance of winning high value events where the field is full of top players (including his arch nemesis LIV golfers)

  22. So… why didn't you win, Rory? He's really turning into a cry baby and a poor sport. Just focus on your own game.
