    Celtic is a huge club, in a small league everyone knows this, not only celtic but rangers are also a huge club, giving the financial backing with the fan base both would do well in any league, regardless I do think rodgers is a step backwards in my opinion, but the best unemployed manager at the current time, he will do a good job regardless.

    I can see Rodgers walking away from Celtic this season. The psychological strain he will be under from his own fans after the way he left last time at Celtic. He was threatened by being shot in the head and Celtic supporters broke into his house. If Rangers go on a winning streak and Celtic drop points, wow, he's going to be under some amount of pressure. The abuse he's going to get outside football from his own fans.

    Everyone knows why he did it ! getting Leicester relegated has affected his confidence,so he's gone to Celtic because it's not difficult to win a trophy up there,if it was,,he wouldn't have got 8 in 3 seasons .Even turned Leeds down because the Championship is tougher than winning the SPL !

    I think Rodgers needs to do well in Europe.
    I think Celtic, Rangers, Aberdeen, Dundee United, Heart of Midlothian, and Hibernian could join the North American Major League Soccer, with Welsh and Irish clubs in a Celtic Conference to qualify for the MLS playoffs.
    Play eastern American and Celtic sides in the regular season.

    Simon I think Rogers spits out the dummy when he docent get his own way? This time around with Celtic, Brendan will have gotten assurances on paper in regards to available funds and the actual signing of players! Simon as for Ange and Celtic competing in Europe you are missing the fact that Celtic had to sign a whole new team which is young and had no experience in Europe. If Brendan keeps the nucleus of this team for this coming Champions League ( A team that's actually won the league and not finishing second or third stealing another teams revenue from real champions) Then I think the Bhoys will quietly surprise the opposition like the battle of Britten games between Celtic and English oppositions? And what Keown says the results don't lie? Celtic have the better win average against English oppositions which Keown seems to have amnesia when he has to recall those results. Do those results lie Martin when Celtic become the victors in those Battle of Britten games?

    Boys, boys, boys Celtic are hurting after losing Ange and Celtic need an experienced manager and to answer your critical wrongly placed questions as to you need to win the EPL? Well you will need to let us in first? That won't happen as if Celtic and The Ranger's joined the EPL we would make the EPL a 2 horse race in about 10 years, Like Real Madrid and Barcelona. As most leagues are a 2 horse race most seasons even in the EPL? Anyway due to the loss of Ange one thinks Dermot will be opening the cheque book to enable his club to have a better chance in Europe. However, though I think Celtic will do ok in the Champions League this season. It won't be until the second season in regards to CL football we will have a stronger squad assuming we win the league under Rogers campaign. But never the less we will hold our own this time round if we keep the nucleus of the squad. Do you honestly think Celtic supporters and Celtic football club would settle for anything less than winning, if we got into the EPL league of milk and honey. Oh and our owner isn't short of a few quid either it's in the billions and if granted into the EPL one thinks he would open his cheque book.
