LOVE PHIL.. Best golfer ever… where's Rory ? Where's Tiger? Where's JT… Oh! they aren't playing at the end???? that's the pga ? sad.. long live LIV
LEFTY at 51…Hope for TIGER if he gets that leg healthy…
Dang, he killed it. Very impressive at his age. Wow.
What’s driving him? Great round but what is driving him is big easy money
They're just golfers, who cares where they come from as long as they qualify
ATTA BABY PHIL !!👍
Mickelson wanted the TOUR players to make more money, and LIV provided the leverage to make that happen. He made some unfortunate statements, was roundly criticized, apologized, and is back in the majors. Now it's up to him to perform while he still can. He's got a lifetime exemption to The Masters, but the clock is ticking on the other majors because LIV players don't earn world ranking points. If they don't win majors or earn return invites with high finishes, soon they'll be gone.
Legend. EVERYONE in the media was doubting he'd even make the cut and he damn near won it all. Phil doesn't have many years left being able to compete with the young guys but this showed he still can even when no one believes he can or even wants him to.
Sports should be a meritocracy, CBS and the producers should be ashamed for the amount of coverage that Phil Mickelson received this weekend. He finished second at the Masters at the age of 52. Appreciate greatness…
I miss Phil
Heeey chamblee u infantile pillock. If u got balls to interview Phil now,…. All hail Phil Mickelson,.
I put 1$ on phil winning woulda paid out 500$ lol
Rahm won. Koepka faded. Phil was never really in it.
Golf Channel owes him an apology.
Leave the clown league and return to the PGA
“with some of the blows to your reputation and character over the last year or so”………says the asshat reporters who wrote and pushed the narrative and all the division whilst shilling out for the PGA 🤦🏼♂️
From a golf fans prospective, this weekend was pretty exciting. What made it great was that all the best players in the world were competing in the same tournament. This is how it should be every week. I don’t see how LIV is good for golf as they keep claiming. It has fractured golf and made it less interesting, in my opinion. LIV can’t provide the tv coverage that we had this weekend and the players know that. Let the LIV players play in the PGA events and I think this whole situation will work itself out.
Great tournament Phil, Brooks,Patrick and also to the 12 of 18 LIV golfers who played the weekend, Yes, they are top pro golfers and MUST be given their due and awarded world ranking points, and also to the winner
J. RAHM.
I have a new appreciation for Phil's vision of golf, as well as Greg Norman's. While Tiger Woods has been my favorite player, I think he is making a big mistake by teaming with Rory. They both are very inward-PGA-looking golfers and share mental obstacles that tarnish their perceptions rather than enhance them. Woods is unquestionably legendarily accomplished but is missing his potential to be a larger leader because he is too PGA-focused and close-minded. Rory continues to come across as an immature whiner.
So glad to see Phil do well. Fingers cross for that missing title, the US Open.
True, but have you ever watched the Masters before??? Anything’s possible on that last 9 holes. Rahm was in total control of his game, but as a Mickelson fan, part of me hoped for a Rahm collapse for him to get his 4th green jacket. Once Rahm hit the green on 12 I knew it was over. Rahm is no doubt the most gifted player in the world and what he’s done thus far this year is very impressive. Wouldn’t shock me if he wins another Major this year, do I dare say Grand Slam if he picks up the PGA next month???? The golf world will be going crazy if he does!
Phil being the last amateur to win a PGA Tour professional golf event and the oldest to win a Major, second in the last 30 years in professional wins. Enough said…
Major kudos to Augusta National for taking the high road in allowing LIV players to compete and making the tournament all about the golf. It provided the stage for the best competition
and showed how golf should be with inclusion of the LIV players. As a golf fan, this is what we want to see. It was refreshing to see the Golf Channel talk glowingly about Phil and Brooks and Sergio and other LIV players. I stopped watching the channel because they became the Fox News of golf reporting only the PGA side and not all golf (LIV) as a golf reporting station should. I hope all entities will take Augusta’s lead and include LIV golfers going forward to restore the competition as it should be for us fans.
Yes nice work i think Phil can win even at his age another Masters with a lot of hard work of course 🥇👍🏆
Great job Phil
lost all respect for lefty-Sell out. Tried to to stick it to the pga but failed. Thats his legacy now
We love you Phil!! Don't listen the the hypocritical haters who given the option would do the exact same thing you did (despite what they say)
Yea the Stupid golf channel analyst from Lerner to Brandel saying Liv golfer won't be in the hunt because they play easy golf courses…what a joke!!! I bet the PGA hated Phil finished second you go Phil & Brooks and Patrick Reed.
