No. 16 Duke staved off a tough fight from Pitt at home to pick up the 53-44 win. Shayeann Day-Wilson and Celeste Taylor paced all scorers in a defensive battle with 13 points. Taylor added 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 blocks, and a steal, as Day-Wilson added 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and a steal. For Pitt, Emy Hayford had a team-high 12 points on an efficient 5-7 shooting night.
