After lots of different head and shaft combos I was fit into the X at 10.5 stock with a 55g Fujikura Vista Pro R. You said the key word to me. Confidence. Dialing back a bit it’s dead straight for me and usually dead in target line. Dial in a bit more speed and it just drifts off line ever so slightly. Last year I played an STZ220 with Evenflow CB shaft and while it is still noticeably longer on good hits, the distance loss and directional control on slight mishits is not worth the trade off of 8-12 yards to me. I feel the X looks better than the standard.

But surely you've just made the case for NOT getting fit for clubs? Amateur golfers seem to be in a permanent state of flux with their swing so will, surely, only be fit for their swing on that day? If your swing changes, as yours has, you'll need something different a month on from being fit. Won't you?

I just got a Oban Air Burst I. The driver over the winter. I think it could be exactly what you’re looking for. I was also using the hzrdus yellow handcrafted (the one you used quite a while back) the blue of the airburst would perfectly match the blue in the paradym as well ☺️

great video…I did the same thing with the STEALTH 2's…..ended up with the HD 9 degree UST PROFORCE V2 HL5 regular shaft with mid size grip and i either hit it straight or a slight draw…loving it….cheers from Canada

You've just gone through what most clubs golfers do every year. Get moaned at to "GET FITTED!!!!111eleven", then you go get fitted, and as a human, your swing changes, or you change your swing in lessons (because we're not tour pros) and the driver doesn't suit you. Every damn year it happens, and we're mugs for falling for it.
Interesting you lowered the loft to as that opens the face, would be interesting to see your numbers/dispersion with 9* and the -1 setting to see how much "draw" bias you have removed?
