  1. Yur missing an important step. Getting the weight slightly moving towards the target right before firing the hips. Don’t want to spin out.

  2. This is not the drill pros are doing. He left out the most important aspect of the drill and that is to shift the weight forward at the top before you swing through. Any drill that has you static at the top of the backswing should be viewed with skepticism anyway. This isn't a good idea for most golfers.
