The USGA is a nonprofit organization that celebrates, serves and advances the game of golf. Founded in 1894, we conduct many of golf’s premier professional and amateur championships, including the U.S. Open and U.S. Women’s Open. With The R&A, we govern the sport via a global set of playing, equipment, handicapping and amateur status rules. The USGA campus in Liberty Corner, New Jersey, is home to the Association’s Research and Test Center, where science and innovation are fueling a healthy and sustainable game for the future. The campus is also home to the USGA Golf Museum, where we honor the game by curating the world’s most comprehensive archive of golf artifacts. To learn more, visit https://www.usga.org.

  1. Goodnight every par 4 500 yards most par 3s like 280 geez 10 under w a ridiculous # of birdies w2g Rickie that is some start and hopefully keeps it goin on the weekend. I am probably crazy but the greens seemed to surprise him today w how slow they were which is obviously not usually the case in the US Open.

  2. Still using helicopters to film. What a waste of money.

  3. Let’s go Ricky. You’ve got momentum, the crowd behind you and you’re game is dialed in. This is yours to lose.

  4. Feels like I’m waiting to watch a late night sitcom staying up to watch this Open 😂. Damn west coast time

  5. Oh man would lovee to see ricki win this been watching him for years great to see such a pretty swing from him now and walk those putts in brother

  6. It would be Awesome for Rickie Fowler to finally break through & Win the Coveted Major & his 1st one, and to know he making his way back to the top golfers in the world. Love what I'm witnessing

  7. Geeez TBH i didn't give him good chance of winning the major this year (also not after 35) even tho he is one of the nicest tour players, down to the earth-not a surprise he made biggest chunk of money only with sponsors, didn't go to LIV (he would get 100mil+ i am sure). Anyways i have players i like more but just let him win his Major, and lets be it US Open 🫡

  8. Please, all that is good in this universe, let Rickie win this tournament. He deserves it more than anyone that plays the game of golf.

Also the only difference in his level of play here and Rory’s in 2011 is that no one touched Rory the whole time. Here Rickie has DOGS on his heels. This is going to be a US open for the ages.
