Verlander pitched a ton of innings going deep into the postseason last year coming off Tommy John. Doesn’t bode well for him this year. Plus last outing her threw 117 pitches, he just doesn’t have the put away stuff this year.
Over the hill…
86 million for 2 years LOL. Props to JV for the greatest heist of all time. Oh wait nvm, that award goes to both JV and max scherzer. 2 of the highest AAV's in baseball history and they're both terrible.
He’s still throwing it 96-94 mph on his heater Braves are jus hitting on another level and that’s jus what it is cuz the Mets got bats lmao they actually do
Scherzer and Verlander WERE great pitchers but ARE washed up. PERIOD! And I told that every Mets fan at the start of the season…..
This team is one of the worst teams I've seen in all my years as a fan. Bily Buck need to go fire sale in July. Please Steve
"I don't know, I'm just old." What the correct response should be….
Braves win
Braves Had Batting Practice Against The Mets Putrid Pitching 🤢🤮…Especially Pepe Le Pew Smit…He started the Collapse by giving up a 2run Hr to D'arnaud ..Along with VogelBad They Need to Be DFA ed…Its Too Bad That Eppler Couldn't be Included Also!!🤦♂️🤬
THIS VERY OLD
SON OF A BIT××
NEEDS TO RETIRE
😅😂😅😂😅😂
THIS IS THE RESULT OF BILLY EPPLER'S LOUSY DESICIONS WASTING ALL THOSE MILLIONS OF DOLLARS ON THE "OVER THE HILL GANG".
We know what the dif is Justin you're a Met now 😂
How about giving some of that money back? You've been a BUST.
PED's ain't working anymore . hahaha Freemason Sellout
Tbh as a Braves fan he’s the only one I respect on the METS
You think its the pitch clock?are you rushing in the game whereas in practice you can take more time?
Did MLB lower the baseball seams or juice it again?
Mets will be just fine, let’s revisit this comment in 40 games.
Needs to break the 24 hour rule with kate upton. Dude looks like he's in his own head. Get some head, take a breather, come back. Simple.
Josh Walker, a 6'6" lefty reliever is sitting in AAA with a 1.45 ERA. Why?
As a Braves fan, I just want to say there is no way the Mets aren't right there come September. There is way too much talent on that team to not go on a big run at some point this season.
walk walk walk walk
Look at the Tampa Rays and Miami Marlins….this New York spending spree state of mind has got to stop and the fans should understand and get used to it. Such a waste of money
for what you are getting in return.
Washed up and OVERPAID.
Old. Period.
Verlander is robbing Steve Cohen blind just as Scherzer is.
