This video is a test of old vs new golf clubs. Mark Brooks, a 7-time PGA Tour winner and 1996 PGA Champion, joins to conduct some testing of old vs new golf clubs. More specifically, Mark tests his old TaylorMade Raylor 4-wood against some new PING G430 fairway woods and hybrids.

In this video, Mark and 2nd Swing’s Drew Mahowald use Trackman technology at 2nd Swing’s Dallas store location to identify the similarities and differences in this old vs new golf clubs test.

  1. 1.5 smash with consistency with that g430 in his hands. my goodness.

That type of contact on the regular is heavenly.

  2. Absolutely crazy that these old tour guys carried 3 wood 220-230. I hit 3 further as a junior and still feel slightly underpowered compared to my competitors

  3. Awesome guy to have come through the shop!
Patiently waiting to be able to come in and get a new/used set of clubs and have a fitting for a new to the game again golfer.
