  1. I hate you for posting 1080p and 720p videos as a 4k youtube video. I was stoked for like 2 seconds. Good summary of the news though, thanks!

  2. yes because tour in usa is more and more golfcourts, longs ope shots, not many wodden technincal courses anymore, like i europe that is like the oinly thing

  3. People have to do some real mental gymnastics to justify Maria’s response. She’s an idiot.

  4. I am by no means a "Brodie-Bro", but what a bunch of silly invented drama. Brodie simply asked if she wanted to appear on the show, as he has done with many pros. To make it sound like he did something wrong is absurd.

  5. Only chasing Brodie is doing,is that usdgc spot !!! Drew was speaking facts on tour life ,about Brodie being one of the most influential people in all of discgolf !!!!

  6. Does throwing farther give you an advantage? I'm not even going to justify that question with a response.

  7. I don’t think he needs clout though. I knew who he was years before I knew disc golf existed

  8. No there is no advantage to throwing 50, 100, 150 feet more than your competitors. If you believe that you are a moron. Of course distance matters. a 100' approach shot is easier than a 200' approach shot. Having the distance to eagle a par 5 gives you a huge advantage. Distance isn't everything but it is a very big advantage.

  9. Brodie is an ass. There is nothing about Brodie that I like. I will purposefully not watch anything with Brodie in it. You can just tell Brodie is a dirt bag. I think he is bad for disc golf.

  10. I like Maria, she's one of my favorite FPO players, but introducing yourself to someone goes both ways. She could easily approach him if he's been so close and they play events across the country together throughout the year. It sounds like she has some preconceived thoughts on him and doesn't like him.

  11. Not a fan of Brodie. Hate that he’s constantly yelling on the course. He’s also kinda douchey in a toxic masculinity kind of way. Maria has a reason for responding in that way.

  12. Its pretty weird to hold a grudge against someone that did exactly what she did as well lol. He was 5 feet from her and didn't introduce himself….neither did she….She sounds like a jackass. Instead of having Maria on the podcast they should get Sai Ananda since she's actually on leaderboards regularly and impossible to dislike.

  13. I have some disc golf buddies that have seen Brodie in person and said he's a str8 dickhead to fans……and he's probably not even top 20 most popular golfers……that's why I stopped watching all of his content

  14. For all the morons stating that she shoulda/coulda introduced herself to him, she is not the one asking him to be on her podcast. If neither goes out of their way to introduce himself/herself to the other, that's fine but, in her eyes, it was tactless for him to all of a sudden reach out to her, in what she perceived to be a self-serving manner, when he never acknowledged her up to that point.

  15. Sounds like someone (Maria) is just hating on Brodie for his popularity. All he wants to do is grow the sport. Not a great take on this. Also he was very famous before he ever came to disc golf. But I’d say for only playing DG for about three years and being 1020 rated he’s earned his place.

  16. The distance aspect has reached the point of being annoying. It is an advantage, of course, but hole 8 in the Portland Open being a wide open 632 ft par 3 that basically the entire field fails to reach is totally stupid—there’s no point to a hole like that. Like, what message are the course organizers trying to send when they show the audience that overwhelmingly the best disc golf players in the world basically can’t even reach circle 2 in regulation? The cherry on top of that hole was a really late mandatory about 100 ft from the basket…just completely out of touch with reality.

  17. "Called Brodie out on his past actions" and "boy did it make a lot of male disc golf fans angry." Sounds like you have a dog in this fight. You've positioned the issue as gender-centric, and it wasn't a fight in the first place. Maria made a great couple of posts, then Brodie invited her to talk about it on the podcast him and Uli co-host. She then … "claps back?" "Calls Brodie out on his past actions?"

  18. It's interesting that you say "boy did it make a lot of male disc golfers angry…" as if they were reacting inappropriately to something nice from Maria. No, that's not what happened. Brodie asked if Maria wanted to come on their show which is pretty well-known in the disc golf world to discuss her take, and she had a very rude and inappropriate response to it.

  19. I feel like throwing farther is just part of the game growing. Think of hall golf they had to constantly make courses longer because the pool of players were able to hit the ball further, it’ll only happen in disc golf as well

  20. Everyone is way too up in arms about this. First, Maria was the subject of her statement, saying SHE didn't need to chase clout. Not saying brodie was a clout chaser. This video adds fuel to the fire, and is inaccurate. She basically said she wanted to be left alone (and of course this sets off the whole community to talk shit on her). Why did she say it in THAT way? Context is everything. I think she would have preferred a personal invite, instead of a very public tweet invitation. Maria has publicly taken differing stances on various topics and she probably didn't want to feel cornered into going on Brodie's podcast and be put on the spot. So she declined, and that's that. Also since everyone keeps saying "why didn't SHE introduce herself to him" she has, and there's a picture of her with fangirling with him like 10 years ago. And to anyone saying "she's a nobody", she just ended Portland Open with Ace Birdie Birdie in the top 10.
Now in Brodie's defense, I saw him talk about this on the podcast and I think it was fine how he and Uli addressed it. He's married, he doesn't really fraternize with the fpo players like that, I get it. I think she's just still riled up about the other week with all the drama, she's got her beliefs and it's hard when a large outspoken group is violently adamant about something that goes against your beliefs. Enough with the disc golf drama, lay off Maria, she's cool.

  21. Brodie has had everything handed to him lol.. He is a spoiled little entitled brat who thinks everyone should listen to him. I'm not a fan of narcissism or arrogance. Same for alot of these young guys who create their own social media outlet to release a bunch of noise…that's all it is..noise. This sport is better off without greed.
