  2. To me it sounds like the base of his thumb on his left hand is originally placed on the grip on the right of the centerline of the grip, but his thumb is pointed right as well. Coach wants the base of the thumb right of center, but the thumb pointed more left of center. With his thumb in the original position, it’s a very neutral, or maybe even somewhat weak grip, with the “v” pointing at your chin. Pointed left, the “v” is aiming more at the trail shoulder. So basically, he strengthens his grip, allowing him to close the club face easier in order to produce the draw he is looking for. I’m no professional, but that’s just what I interpreted from this. 🤷🏻‍♂️
