  1. Rory got made a mug and a hypocrite. Didn’t want the money and now he wants the pot. Absolute imbecile

  2. Wow! I can’t believe how seemingly inaccurate this SKY SPORTS NEWS report can be at this time. People should make a note of this transcript and revisit this once the details emerge. Did the journalist actually say that LIV Golf was withering??? Preposterous! The important question that's missing from this report is – did the PGA Tour seemingly exploit or misrepresent 9/11 victims?

  3. Jamie may have been ferreting about but he clearly hasn't read Alan Shipnuck's piece yesterday from The Fire Pit Collective. PIF have just bought golf and that snake Jay Monahan will do as he's told to do! If the deal falls through then PIF will be in an even stronger position as Monahan has just told everyone it's only about money.

  4. this was ridiculous and will tarnish golf if any of it becomes fact. Good luck, bunch of f…. idiots, and I'm a PGA fan or was.

  5. Absolute nonsense. This is a takeover by LIV. Monahan will remain in place as the tour needs player buy in to pass the agreement in principle. Once everything is sorted, Monahan will be let go, probably Norman aswell. But make no mistake, this is a big win for LIV.

  6. LIV is dead, the LIV bots and losers that like LIV are obviously not…the Saudis do not give a sh## about Greg Norman and his band of disloyal morons…

  7. I read the article and it's mostly guesswork and spin. The whole concept that the Saudis will own nothing and control nothing is contradicted by the new CEO and Chairman interviewed a couple of days ago. The idea that Jay is just in complete control is contradicted by the fact that a lot of his key stakeholders have no reason to trust him. Is the chairman going to allow him to throw away the investment in LIV, out of spite? Hell no. He will dance as he's told

  8. All these pro liv commenters are delusional. You think you know more accurate information than the established golf reporters contacting the parties involved? I guess so. No one will likely remember your stupid comments tomorrow, let alone 6 months from now.

  9. Monahan will e CEO of new entity so not head of pgatour.DP World is a UAE company. PGAtour will have USA market and LIV/DP World will have the rest of the world. Remember LIV also sponsors 12 x 3 million dollar tournaments on te Asian tour

  10. LIV is only faltering because of the now old monopoly of the PGA Tour, broadcasters like Sky Sports wouldn’t do deals with them presumably because the PGA Tour would pull any deal they had to show that tour and all the major news outlets were obviously instructed not to talk about LIV, many just called it ‘the other tour’ and didn’t even make stories when a LIV player won a major such was the control the PGA Tour had! And sure players may have been unhappy because again that monopoly pressured the WGR to not give LIV players points!

I believe all this anti competitiveness by the PGA Tour would have eventually been overturned by the relevant authorities anyway, luckily we have avoided those years of legal challenges and an even bigger splitting of the golf world!

And lastly, how can the PGA fine anyone for leaving to LIV, unless they broke a contractual cause which I thought players were considered independent? Surely now the usual rules should apply to getting a card and maybe a pathway opened such as top10 non eligible LIV players become eligible for PGA Tour, next 20 can do DP etc! to account for the lack of OWGR points recently!

  11. Doesn’t matter the player that left and sign contacts with liv made more money that they would make over their pag tour careers

  12. LIV may close as it no longer serves the Saudis purpose. But it will be their choice to shut it down. Monahan has zero ability to close down LIV. The PGA do not have control of anything. This Sky report was wildly partisan and largely inaccurate.

  13. Yeah Yassir is just going to shut down an investment that he has put several billion dollars into…..Worst Journo in England

  14. 4:19 .. His answer to the team golf thing is spot on. Ryder Cup? President's Cup? A thousand times yes. 4Aces? Majestics? No so much.

  15. 😂😂😂 don't believe everything you hear on this channel or other channel. No one knows what's going to happen

  16. I love this narrative they are trying to spin, nobody is watching LIV and all the players unhappy

    All fabricated

  17. Phrases you said " umbrella company" says money laundering to me. The PGA will now be a money laundering acquisition for the Saudis and Trump. Don't forget Trump has a part in LIV golf and team Saudi. Second phrase "trojan horse" says this is how the Saudis operate. Throw tons of money into the mix and the right heads will turn. Don't think someone on top isn't getting a big piece of the pie that isn't being disclosed. I doubt LIV will go away, but the PGA might. Anytime the Saudis are involved there is mischief afoot.

  18. Utter propaganda from Jamie Weir here. Very anti Liv. Deluded Jamie, Jay even admitted, Yasser is funding everything and Liv will be a series on the tour like the WGC only bigger. Foolish Jamie

  19. You guys are funny & know nothing about business. who is the largest investor in the new organization. Once you understand the ownership structure you will understand the true strategy. CEO’s work for the owners! It’s all about $$

  20. This guy is an example of why you can't believe the corporate media. The Saudi's are cutting the checks, they are in charge not Monahan. Why would the Saudi's allow any of the LIV players to be punished if they are cutting the checks. The Saudi's are funding the PGA and European tours. Both the PGA and European tours have lost major sponsors and who was going to replace them.

  21. PIF save the PGAT from going broke, so no more road blocks to get the top players from the PGAT to LIV. Rory and Billy not invited, unfortunately.

  22. You said it yourself money talks those 6 people who kept this info from getting out have been paid off.A deal was stuck that if the news doesnt get out you get 100 mill each if it gets out none of you get paid.
Im going bat crazy at the minute about this all Liv players are traitors and i hope they are treated like traitors and greedy scumbags that i have no time for anymore.

  23. Anyone who has ever sat on a board knows how much sway the chairman and the source of funds has on the board, so how hard the LIV players are hit will be interesting to see as I am sure the Saudis will provide some protection for their loyalty to LIV.

  24. you think that the LIV golfers will accept a fine? Sounds like one side one and the others loss by taking the "so called" moral high ground.

  25. Where do they get these blathering idiots in the UK,LIV was floundering?
Nike was ready to invest 30 billion,LIV player's put 3 in the top 5 of the Master's,won the PGA.
Let's get this straight, the DP and LIV merge,LIV GM will run that, which means bigger money,Rambo will be playing more there and Rory will stick with minor PGA, because he can't beat anybody on the LIV.😂
Tiger will continue to drink and take pain pills and nobody will ask him any questions after his next screw up,Rory and Jim Nance will finally come out 😜of the closet,Rory will demand everyone use his pronouns 🤣🤣

  26. Jay is just a puppet-CEO of this new entity. A face that people recognise. Make no mistake about who is in charge.

  27. PGA Tour always said that the primary problem was the source of funds not the competition or the LIV format (some fans and players like it). PGA Tour leadership (Monahan) have been shown to be hypocrites. LIV can still exist in some format in the players and fans want it. Many PGA Tour players would have joined LIV but were dissuaded because of the source of funds and legacy (whatever that means). The only PGA Tour players that will be compensated are the handful of top players. Everyone else will benefit by the larger purses.

  28. Here's the path. Get them together at a liberal country club. Raise the Rainbow flag. Get them all to dress in drag and sing "Lola" together. Now, there's the PGA Pride Month path to get this done. Shame on the PGA Tour for airing PRIDE commercials aimed at transing our children. Leave them kids alone!

  29. The PGA Tour capitulated lmao, they joined forces with the Saudi's because they were losing sponsors and running out of money due to being bled dry by the lawsuit, so they won't be closing LIV ffs 🤣🤣 Awful take

  30. This guy is obviously lying to himself, PGA isn't and was never in the position of power, don't have the money
