Thanks Todd. I, like many golfers, have way too many swing thoughts (too many YouTube videos) and had to smile when you mentioned relaxing your jaw. Is this why Tiger, Phil, and many other pros have been chewing gum while playing?
Great video as always and information , I know I tend to muscle up when I swing , I’ll take two practice swings nice and easy then look to hit the 500 yard drive 🤷♂️

In 2008, David Ledbetter wrote an article for Golf Digest saying that a great way to reduce tension in the golf swing is to simply open your mouth before you swing.

Hi Todd, once again a great video, and something I have taken and put into practice: my "practice" swings are actually tension releasing swings, continuos motion to relax and be able to strike the ball better. And it really works !! Will try the other 2 tips and let you know how I get on. Thanks

Great suggestions Todd on making the golf swing easier by releasing tension! Consciously I don't feel I have tension, but who knows what the subconscious produces when action comes into play. Your idea of continuous movement is good and I have found that taking a deep breath helps as well just prior to the takeaway. When I set up to the ball, I always have a landing target in mind, so I am not perplexed as to what I want to accomplish. Hopefully, this too relieves some tension. All good points Todd! Thanks for the great content, but due to the recent PGA LIV merger I will no longer be playing or supporting golf. Saudi Arabia is a dirty dictatorship that still hasn't been held accountable for the murder of an US citizen! That was the main reason sponsors wanted nothing to do with LIV golf! I guess its ok now! A life without principles isn't a life worth living! Continued success with the channel 🙂
