I was at the range a few months ago and saw one of the teaching pros doing this drill with his driver and fairway woods. I began to mimic his movement of trying to let the club release either into the ball or fight after impact and OH MY DAYS I’ve had to go a club down lately with my approach shots because I’m hitting the ball a lot further.
Either click bait or alex just doesn't know what the word illegal means. This isn't a tip. This is how any stick/ball sport work. Always swing through.

Really love this tip. Makes a big difference in the swing to get maximum distance.
I swing my clubs through the arc. the ball just happens to be in the middle. (and hopefully the right spot in the middle)
Thanks to all your great tips, I've turned into the long drive guy in my foursome. Thank you so much!
Is this that tip I always get, accelerate through the ball? Same thing ya?

Try it, folks…it works! 👍🏾
Even better: When driving into a curve (which a swing is) you accelerate once IN it for max speed and control NOT before.

I know im using most of my power pulling down going into my downswing rather than at the ball, how do i fix it.
