  1. Rick I love your idea of a Friday night playoff knockout, closest to the pin with making the cut,it probably won’t happen but it’s an exciting idea any how, also a regulation system as well.

  2. LIV and their golfers are clearly the winners. They got all their money and now just get filled back into the PGA. How would Rory and all the ones who stayed be rewarded? Just bonus checks for loyalty?

  3. The Saudis investing in golf doesn't mean it is out of interest for the game. They are currently in the process of a major PR campaign to change the view of the country. The demand for oil is going down and they are prepping their economy for that. Saudi Arabia wants to be the next Dubai so they need to get tourists. Here is a video that sheds some light on that.

  4. Golf is a business like all televised sport. Players are a commodity. The PGA and DP are under new ownership. Let’s not kid ourselves, it will change and players will have little influence.

  5. Rory sold up the garden path, human rights atrocities won’t be mentioned, PGA are so hypocritical 😂😂I’d say Rory feels like a right knob

  6. Hopefully it’s all for the best. Something needs to happen to the DP World Tour as it’s gone rubbish. From the players to the commentators, it’s a total snooze fest 😴 💤

  7. Is it true as part of the merger , the PGA will control holes 1~8 and 12~18. The saudis do 9~ 11

  8. The ones that stayed don’t look loyal. They look stupid for carrying the torch for the PGA who was proven to be short changing their players. The PGA suddenly had bigger purses and more to offer it’s players only after LIV showed up? Seems dubious and the players should have all left or demanded Monahan’s resignation. It was obvious that the PGA was acting in bad faith. Looks like they were being manipulated and the PGA used loyalty and tradition to guilt them into staying.

  9. Stop talking shit. The fans will always dictate who they want to watch and the players who get the best results will always have the power.

  10. Great perspective given by Rick at the end about what he would like to see in future years. I hope somebody in charge listens to him or has the same ideas!

  11. Want the best playing but not not just playing in the northern hemisphere, play all around the world so all countries get to see not just mainly in the US

  12. Sorry Rick, don't agree. The PGA events became diluted! And the majors became more interesting due to the LIV players playing cross-tour. Jay will report to LIV CHAIRMAN and I don't see him past 12 months. He has been proven to be a hypocrite and Phil was right. Being Loyal to the PGA? Who providing the new funding? the money controls the future. Not Jay and the PGA Tour. The chairman will be the puppet master. The LIV players were loyal to the new capital partner. Love you guys but your bias is showing. Talking about LIV players with the “tails” between their legs….. Well Jay, Rory et Al seems to have their tails between their legs.

  13. The tone of this whole thing seems to suggest you think this is a legit merger? A 3 tours into 1 merger? All this is, is the PGA Tour, DP World Tour, and the PIF creating a new company that will control the commercial side of the game. So a new company, mainly funded by the PIF, that controls the advertising, prize money, TV rights, etc – anything money related in relation to golf on all 3 of the tours.
