  1. From a Saudi point of view I don't see how this whole mess eases their passage to legitimacy in the sporting world. The LIV supporters didnt care anyway and the others will be even more annoyed by it all.

  2. Make no mistake about it. the PGA's lawyers whispered in Monahan's ear "Pssst…we are going to lose this anti-trust suit. Treble damages will ruin you. Bail out now while you still can or else LIV will own you outright for a bucket of range balls."

  3. shipnuck is a heap of trash,… y'all owe an apology to Phil Mickelson, he was right n got ridiculed n vilified. hail LIV

  4. Golf isn't clean now. Not like the NFL, whose owners have invested $1 billion in predatory gambling promotion of their own games, shady officiating, colluding with politicians to build private stadium-palaces with public money. Golf isn't clean now.

  5. Will these PGA Tour virtue signaling players boycott and not play?????? I bet they won't. Their so called loyalty is a joke. These primadonna's have yet to figure out that the PGA Tour is a business. It's also a business they don't control. They have nowhere else to go. The PGA Tour is bleeding money and losing sponsors. These guys have no loyalty. They hire and fire caddies they have known and used for years under the umbrella of change and it was just business. They are only mad because they turned down the LIV money and that has now backfired big time. They were lead by Rory and Tiger. Two business dummies. They can play golf but business wise they are a joke and it shows. No businessman turns down that kind of money. Both Rory and Tiger are in bed with NIKE. Nike is all made in sweatshop China. They both fly in jets that are filled with Saudi oil. Nothing these guys use in made in America other than their Scotty Cameron putters. These two can spare me the American loyalty routine.

  6. I’m not surprised here . The only thing I was surprised somewhat was how fast this happened .

  7. To hear this guy Shipnuck try to whitewash this is disgusting. Tell the 911 families to their face that you accept the fact that dirty Saudi money is ok because the books were cooked and it's just business.

  8. What was unsustainable for LIV exactly? Cause if you keep saying lawsuits you sound stupid. Lawsuits just mean money. And LIV is good there. I love how people think this is the end. Next is the major sports.

  9. Rory can just retire, tiger can just go away, they can take brandel chamblee with them, ps, it might be better if the Saudis did buy the woke nfl bro,

  10. This was a great day for golf fans. Rory just said in his press conference that he was never offered money from LIV. I don't remember if Rich Eisen went ballistic when the NBA denounced anyone mentioning the Chinese government wrecking protesters in Hong Kong, but he's awful self-righteous about Saudi Arabia, who, by the way, is the number one ally of the US in the Muslim world.

  11. They had no choice because golf is boring to watch sense Tigers downturn. Im sure people still won't watch. No real stars to keep people watching

  12. "Well yeah, I guess I am sort of a soul less snake who now fully supports the fire-sale wood chipping of what once was a game that held up standards of fair play and honor as being sort of important, but hey…you know…everybody is just going to have to accept it, I guess."

  13. It's comical how the folks who cash checks from Nike sponsorship deals claim "moral objections" with Saudi money. Nike makes a fortune selling a theme of taking a knee in protest to conditions in the USA while bowing down in subservience to a dictatorial regime in China… in return for being able to sell into a market that is 4 times the size of the US. They are all happy to ignore the child and slave-like labor that cheaply manufactures their merchandise, and turn a blind eye to all manner of other very real human rights abuses. The guys who took the LIV money were the most genuine, they play the game for fortune and fame… in that order. Guys like rory look like clowns. I suspect Jack and Arnold might have taken the money too, if it was offered in their day.

  14. Can you explain how US kills the most unborn babies and you think our hands are clean? What about the disgusting LGBTQ we are pushing to our kids in school? What about US ruining and killing millions of people of Iraq, Lybia, and Syria etc… Not to mention, if US government can do business with Saudi why can't golfers do business with them. Everyone who pumps at gas station is guilty as well. So please stop the nonsense comments like US is totally clean.

  15. I don't get "sports washing". It sounds like some liberal teenager with rainbow-coloured hair that also happens to live in their parent's basement nonsense. How does buying golf make any difference to a monarchy's reputation? "The religious police just beat a homosexual to death but their King owns golf so it's all good" I just don't get it.

  16. “The war” is an interesting turn a phrase for an authoritarian theocracy. I wonder how many golf fans worked in the WTC fall 2001?

  17. Clear up the animosity and pay the 911 families reparations. It may cost billions but what's right is right.
