  1. I am not a bought and paid for tour player since getting out of diapers.. and I am not a scratch golfer yet, so my opinion don't matter to anyone but my self. But I do think that the more golf and the more money in the game is a good thing cause there are a lot of people getting into the game now…One can only hope that the dudes running the show don't get greedy and force an other power struggle….

  2. You can see where this is going LIV will have the team golf…so your going to have the Nike team, Adidas team… perhaps Callaway, Titlist, Cobra, Ping teams…..as this is now a profit organizations, guess who going to fund all this……us!

  3. Nothing Last Forever!, Golf needs too changes,…or in the end nobody would love the golf anymore, … In the end all is about control and greedy…. ( MONEY)

  4. It will be a great day for the Saudi Royal Family. However, as in any pro sport, the money speaks the loudest. Seems like the LIV players want the cake and eat it too!
Shameful day for the game of golf.

  5. Sad. Sold out for blood money. Nothing I dislike more than spineless people with no integrity.

  6. Look carefully. The PGA Tour, DP World and PIF are forming an LLC. In other words, the PIF bought those two tours which was always the goal. LIV players will go back and who will be left on LIV? No one. LIV will go away. To me that became obvious when Greg Norman found out about it at the same time as everyone else. Bye bye Greg.

I think the PIF used LIV, the money and legal actions as leverage against a Tour they saw as financially weakened. Force up the prize money causing sponsors to balk, push expensive legal action and swoop in with an offer they can’t refuse. The LIV players got well compensated for being used and can go back to their PGA careers or retire happy. The ones who got screwed are the loyalists who trusted the commissioner.

    My opinion.

  7. How would Americans feel if MLB and the NFL were run and owned by China, Russia or Saudi Arabia. The Saudis OWNING golf versus doing business with the PGA is a huge difference.

  8. Let's all get out and play more golf, instead of sitting in front of a TV watching Millionaires play golf.

  9. It's got to be a good thing – we don't want the best players spread out over several tours – we already had it between DP and PGA tours. Just like many said, the sponsors had valid concerns that the product was not diluted.

  10. I enjoyed the LIV tour and watched more of it than the PGA. Would have liked for the tours to remain separate. Hoping the PIF, at least negotiated, an easy transition for LIV players back into the new tour.

  11. The 3 major tours? Stop The 2 major tours and the 1 with infinite money. No moral values, all about $$$!

  12. Love your reaction. Human. Place for all. Respect for all. Best players competing. And making golf more fun. Liv teams are great.

  13. So much for showing loyalty. Poor day for the PGA. Rory and co must feel let down. It seems you can have your cake and eat it. It seems that golf doesn’t care where the money comes from. There will still be bad blood between players. Can you honestly see those players who remained loyal getting along with the likes of Michelson and Reed. Don’t think so.
