  1. He is worth over half a billion. I don’t think he struggled to pay his debts. That’s not to downplay a gambling addiction. Just saying, people who say he “needed” the LIV money is nonsense. He just wanted bigger paydays.

  2. He's got a severe problem. This guy should be in a treatment center not on a golf course.

  3. My Money is on he is still gambling .. Just like Michael Jorden and Pete Rose they need the action besides their sport ..

  4. When a person has more money than they know what to do with, gambling away a few million is normal.
For me, pitching a few quarters is risky business.

  5. I used to like Phil but his mouth got him in trouble and his betting, which is probably the main reason he went to the Arab tour. Easy money to bet with.

  6. Sports stars make way too much. It's like your local CEO compared to the lowly workers. Times ten. Good talent? Sure. So what. Thats all they ever had to do. I like people like Cal Peete and others who came from blue collar back grounds. Worked their way without having personal coaching and all the amenities.. Not pampered country club snobs who had it all given to them.

  7. WHO THE F$#@ CARES. It is HIS MONEY. He donates more to charities than anyone on tour. If he wants to gamble it all away what business is it of yours? When are we going to start to talk about Tigers drug use? You do't seem to care about that. Give it a rest already.

  8. He looks like a coke head today…..very skinny nose and lost alot of weight….. just saying

  9. What a hateful crap channel, creating hate. This crap program is full of hate . Phil Mickelson is awesome and one of the best golfers of all time

  10. Making bets with other golfers is one thing but betting on sports is just about as stupid as it gets. Nobody is making money betting against Vegas oddsmakers and if they tell you they are they're lying.

  11. He grew up in Rancho Sante Fe…the wealthiest community in SanDiego. He grew up surrounded by massive wealth, learning golf in private country clubs. I heard from another PGA golfer that he is still gambling …. just in areas/bets the general public can't see. He was broke and that's why he had to join the LIV. He's a very different person than he portrays on golf tv….why so many other golfing professionals don't like him.

  12. He lost tens on millions and maybe 100's of millions. He couldn't watch a guy cross the street without a bet on whether he'd make it to the other side. Playing for first paychecks of aspiring golfers, what a dweeb! WHO DOES THAT?

  13. This all-ivy if they want to play for Saudi Arabia let him go and play there and not come back I don't like I'm taking American money while they're playing for another country

  14. Gambling and golf go hand in hand more than any other sport in my opinion. Every time you play someone wants to bet, then you get side bets on holes and shots. It’s a rough atmosphere for a gambling addict I’m sure

  15. Gambling demons are the worst demons. They are the only demons that do not give you a break or a moment to rest. Just as with drugs or pornography they allow you to have a hangover or a period where you are in a low to reset . However the gambling demons are a 24 hour one where you can literally stay wired for days with no rest. Gambling is the only addiction that takes away from you and give you nothing in return for your money and it’s legal. All other addictions are a give and take process. Gambling is a take and take and the only thing you get is a stronger wiring to the addiction (high) for the next bet. If you think gamblers do get something if the win a jackpot or a big bet and go home that day then that is “false” reality. Any gambler knows that the money they have in their pockets, wallet, accounts and paychecks, pensions etc are NOT theirs!

    Gambling addiction >ALL addictions

  16. Hard to believe all the people in the comments section are buying this PGA propaganda bullshit to smear Phil Mickelson. The greediest people on the planet (PGA Tour) whining about how Phil has a gambling addiction… and that is why he is greedy and joined the LIV Tour, because he needs the money. Lol!

  17. Now I understand why Phil Mickelson lost so many majors, because when you gamble like him losing becomes easy.

  18. Nice Hit Job ..hes free to do what he wants with his own money as we all are ..what are you doing with the 100M a year you're making? …I'll wait zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  19. Can't believe that people that actually wasting there money gambling when they should know that the odds are wayyyyyy stacked against you! Must be the excitement of actually thinking you might actually win. If you have a lot of money like Phil does, why would you want to gamble?

  20. My dad knew I was gambling. He knew guys that had lost it all gambling…one being a guy who had owned 3 car dealerships in Detroit and after losing it all he owned a body shop. He asked me…..”Pete Rose lost a lot of money gambling…if Pete Rose played 20 years and coached…and couldn’t win…why do you think you can?”

    Made sense
