  1. 65, 68, 70 & 70… great run!!! Tallest here, it looked like, plus very developed thighs for a 15-16 year old…but again, excellent time, great effort. Keep it up & make strides from here on out.

  2. A Sophomore, almost breaking a Varsity State record??? I'm curious what her secret is!? LMFFFAAAOOO

  3. why not the mile????? stupid they insist on this…meeningless distance-the mile holds the CLOUT!!!!amazzing-amazzing!!!!

  4. Not sure what the announcers were talking about for the national record? My girl Addy Wiley ran 4:29 for the full mile last year.

  5. Wow, Sadie looks like "Wonder Woman" with that headband, and you know what, SHE IS! Brilliant Run. Love to watch you win!

  6. I feel like Sadie may start to race collegiate and pro as a high schooler, like lex and leo are doing; competition is greater and matching their levels

  7. I believe Mary Decker had the record back in the day and she was from California. I may be wrong but that was a long time ago and what a talent!

  8. She won't beat KT she looked waisted at the end. She may beat her on a short race but a longer race is to much for her

  9. I have said this before. Sadie has the strength, height, stride and good technique. She will break national records. I don't like to compare, but she will break some of Touhy's records at the HS and perhaps college level if she stays healthy.

  10. Sadie Englehardt —-> Super well done. Absolutely incredible runner. Hard and consistent work got her to this performance and many more to come!

  11. I'm watching the 2023 CIF state meet and a commentator calls 40.28 "forty-two eight", which reads 42.8. That is an almost-three-second difference. Another clocking was 41.30 and he calls it "forty-one three." You read track times like this: 40.28 = "forty twenty-eight" and 41.30 is "forty-one thirty." Two sets of double-digits.

  12. If I was her coach I would slap her on the face lol 65 sec first lap really? Everyone knows that 4:20 1600m is just not possible for HS girls period.

  13. 1,500? 1mile? Nope, lets complicate things and invent the 1,600! Such a shame. The old mile times and school records last forever now.
