This is very helpful as I have similar issues in transition.
This is a carbon copy of me, this mini lesson was very helpful. Shows me why I can never hit a fade that starts left and falls right, they always start right and fall further right which makes it very difficult to hit with any kind of accuracy
You are correct about the hips. As Peter Cowen video shows, the hips go up and back, not just around as it appears your student hips turn.
