Jimmy Walker wasn’t always a major champion in golf, after starring at New Braunfels Canyon and then Baylor. Jimmy turned Pro in 2001 and although he was by no means a star overnight, a couple of men that coached him kind of had the feeling it would be just a matter of time before Jimmy would will himself into one of the world’s best golfers!

Jimmy Walker had a golfing career that includes a major championship and two Ryder Cup teams. The San Antonio resident who graduated from Canyon High School and Baylor University, had 178 starts on the PGA Tour before winning the season opener at CordeValle in 2013. In 2014, he won three tournaments, was in the top 10 at the Masters, U.S. Open and PGA Championship, earning him a spot on the Ryder Cup team. In 2015, Walker defended his Sony Open title and won the Valero Texas Open. At the 2016 PGA Championship at Baltusrol Golf Club, Walker captured his first major championship. He was also a member of the winning 2016 Ryder Cup team.
