  1. If i was Potter i would be auditioning for the Napoli job, they have quality players who fit his style and their manager seems to be leaving. England managers and players need to start producing abroad that's the only way the England National Team can benefit with different mind sets, personalities and ideas cause at the moment they Al think the same no imagination and without Pep in the EPL who knows where English football would be.

  2. Unfortunately Potter’s teams dither on the ball and Potter himself tinkers with line ups. They’ll be calling Hodgson late in the season!

  3. Potter is a decent guy – but even if they played alright football at BHA under Potter he never got many goals out of the squad – De Zerbi brought the mentality and brought goals – Potter went to Chelsea and they struggled for goals for months as well.

  4. This manager merry go round is ridiculous, keep recycling the same old failures, I mean big Sam back in premier league ffs, it's a joke.

  5. If I was Potter, I would go abroad. Why put yourself in the firing line again?
If he does a good job then he could come back later.

  6. If he becomes Palace manager, he'll get so much more abuse than what he got when he was at Chelsea 😂

  7. Don’t get the hate even Pep wouldn’t of done anything with that horrid chelsea team. Potter is good and this on paper looks a perfect fit for both

  8. Crazy to go from brighton to palace. M23 derby gonna be extra spicy. But would be a good appointment for all the techy players in CPs team like Eze and Olise.

  9. Gotta respect TalkSPORT for their equal opportunities employment. They have 2 Brummies as regular pundits 👌👌

  10. Absolute nosense that Brighton manager built on porters hard work ehy didn't he build on some else's work when he went to Chelsea? He's just an average English manager

  11. Great fit with the way we’re trying to evolve the young talent palace have got. Never underestimate him. Things don’t work out in previous clubs like Chelsea but that doesn’t mean to say he’ll fail at Palace after trying to get the right progressive manager who understands their hierarchy

  12. Is that Carlton Palmer speaking or Martin Keown… I can’t tell.
Absolute dribble from these concussed melts.

  13. Be a great appointment, Palace have got lots of talented young players. If Cooper ever leaves Forest Potter would be my choice of replacement. Intelligent modern manager who can build a side that plays great football.

  14. Looking back at his tenure at Chelsea, it seems now as if he was actually doing an excellent job considering their recent free fall under Lamps. I'm not sure a Premier league club would have him. Only because he builds his team slowly so the players & fans buy into his philosophy. Lose 5 or 6 on the spin, then the knives come out. I'd like to see him at Palace. They have some exciting, talented players. Plus, their home support is phenomenal.

  15. A club like Palace should be begging a coach like Potter to join them. The man builds a culture and winning mentality at every clubs he's been allowed to, from Sweden to the Premier League.

  16. What is Simon on about? Potter's Brighton team was lauded as good but it was never pleasing on the eyes, it was boring & struggled to score goals.

  17. Can't wait for end of next season. When Palace will wheel out Roy again 3rd time lucky help them out.

  18. If I was a Palace fan, I would definitely be happy with Potter, if Roy H is leaving? He'd do a great job at CPFC IMO…

  19. Potter is a good manager. But Realistically the Chelsea job just wasn't the right one for him. May have been good money from being fired but not a great career move.

  20. If he goes to Palace that is a step backwards in my opinion, id rather go abroad than listen to all you lot talking crap everyday let me tell you…

  21. Course talk sport want potter he's white isn't he. I don't
think these stalwart Englishmen ever stop hyping up white manager's Never Ever suggest a black manager for a job.

  22. I can imagine some palace fans being against it because of the M23 connection or the job done at Chelsea. He helped put the framework in at Brighton and could be a good fit for Palace. South London is now the hotbed and long since usurped the east end for young footballers. Potter or someone could do something special with the local talent.

  23. Wednesday were outplayed by a 10 man Barnsley team. Good luck in the Championship 👍

  24. Perfect candidate for Palace. Still loves in Brighton area, wouldn't have to move, or his kids schools. Don't be surprised if he went there. Forget his Chelsea stint

  25. Sheff Wednesday still got 96 pts, still not automatically promoted. Absolutely insane. 96 pts in League 1 next season will piss the league. Won't happen again. About 85 pts good enough to win the League next season

  26. the best solution and decision would be without doubt a comeback of a world class manager

his name is FRANK DE BOER

otherwise i would say:FRANK LAMPARD-STEVEN GERRARD OR STEVE BRUCE!!!

FRANK DE BOER-I WANT HIM-HE IS A MASTER OF SUCCESS!!!

  27. I got respect for you Carlton… but we’re not challenging for the Premier league anytime soon. Maybe never.

  28. I'm a Palace supporter but am not keen on Potter. His brand of football is lovely to watch when it's flowing.but it doesn't create enough chances because not enough players get into the box.(simplified I know) De Zerbi realised this and corrected . Three full seasons at Brighton under Potter resulted in 41 points twice and then 51 points which would have palaced Albion tenth this season. Potter is flavour of the month but I'd look at Steven Gerrard or Scott Parker. Principally Palace need some competition for Mateta and Édouard.
