  1. I play Mizuno irons, titleist wedges and Taylormade driver and fairway woods. This works very well for me….

  2. That was a pretty long course with slow greens. I’d say you did a nice job. The new PXG clubs do look very Nice, thanks for the review.

  3. I have 5 brands in bag…Ping woods , Callaway driving iron/hybrids, Mizuno Irons , Titleist vokey/Mizuno wedges, and an ancient Taylormade Rossa Imola putter.

  4. These look like a great set of clubs. Having a complete set of one brand keeps my OCD in check and I've previously had complete TM and Titliest bags but then drifted into mixing them up. My problem is I love Ping drivers and woods/hybrids but don't like theirs irons or wedges so will stay with a mixed bag, however I would be open to the PXGs if money permitted.

  5. 7 wood vs 5 hybrid, do they serve different purposes in this bag? I've been contemplating adding a 5 hybrid but love my 7 wood.

  6. I play an all Honma bag right now with the exception of a custom fit Titleist driver. I love my Honma Bag and irons. Hard to beat!!!

  7. Those greens looked brutal, my choice for a one brand bag would be Mizuno, would love to see you play a round with them….great ball as well (RBX)….KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK…

  8. My ocd used to think it was a good idea to play one brand. Experience tells me that’s not the case though. No one company can kill every corner of the game. Each company has their specialty areas.

  9. Long time subscriber. My wife just got fitted at PXG as a birthday, Mother's Day and 37th anniversary present. Shoots 103 on a 128 slope rated course walking at +60 age. Best experience as the fitter and her exchanged questions about feel and weight. He did not pre-judge her. Regardless of what you've been told about PXG, they're legit. Our fitter asked many questions about the club being too heavy or too light for her. End of the 2 hour fitting, she got 12 clubs that was cheaper than a full bag. Could PXG be the Tesla of golf?😂😂😂😂

  10. I have played a mixed bag for years but typically matched my iron and wedge brands save for the 58 as a specialty wedge. TM Driver; Titelist Fairway; Adams Hybrids; Mizuno irons and wedges, Scotty Putter. However over the last couple of years my bag has slowly transitioned to Ping. Probably as my golf ego has abated and happy to take the forgiveness available. Initially Driver fairways, then hybrids now Glide Wedges and with the release of the i230 irons will complete the bag save for the Scotty Del Mar which is going nowhere!

  11. Unless someone was paying me to play their brand (which is never going to happen) I would always make my choices on which performed best in each section of the Bag. To be honest I'm always a little suspicious when I see someone with a full bag of one brand particularly if they also have a matching branded bag, it looks a little "Fan Boy" in my opinion.
In saying that most brands are getting to the point where they have pretty decent choices throughout the Bag, but personally, although I have preferred brands there isn't one brand that would make me want to go exclusive.
PS You were really hitting that GEN6 driver well👍👍

  12. My dad played a mixed bag for years. Then one day he got a really good deal on a set of Ping clubs. Never went back, played then until he died.

  13. Andy, Winter and early Spring golf is tough. Ball just doesn't travel as far plus having to wear a bunch of layers doesn't help. I'm playing this morning and we finally have the sun out and it will be in the mid 60's F. When I was younger I used to play the one brand of clubs. Now with launch monitors etc I will mix the bag up. Don't feel bad about your putting the greens looked tough after being punched. My putting needs work too. Get the Mezz back in the bag.

  14. I've got to the point where I play what I want to play and if it happens to be a whole bag of brand X then so be it..

  15. Been playing for 50 years and never had a bag full of one brand.
Currently have 7 different manufacturers in my bag.

  16. I’m all PXG as well with exception of my Paradym 3H. I recently went into a golf galaxy here in the states and hit some competitor brands thinking I was missing out on some performance(fomo), nope my PXG Gen 4 clubs were fitted perfectly and performed better than the latest and greatest

  17. Sponsored by…?
Should you not be adding a "contains paid promotion" disclaimer? The regular insertion of this brand is getting a bit blatant.

  18. to answer your question only when you trade them in is it a good idea. Other than that you should go with what ever club performs best for your game.

  19. I'm doing a Srixon bag from top to bottom including the ball. I lumped Cleveland in there since they are basically the same company.
