Mj did in a decade what Lebron is taking his whole career trying to accomplish. Bron is not on MJ's level and never will.
I guess he will keep collecting stats to look better on paper
but we all have eyes.
Lebron had the only super team in the Eastern Conference for 8 years. The worst state of a conference in Modern NBA history.. Imagine the Bucks before the Greek Freak and the post Kevin Garnett Celtics? I don't respect those runs to the finals. That was handed to him and he still couldn't capitalize on that. Because he had to face real teams from the west Like the Spurs and Warriors.
Forget Michael Jordan.
I don't even think Lebron compares to kobe or Duncan. Those easy finals runs Lebron had cannot be compared to Kobe and even KD in the west. Those dudes had to get past each other, get past Kawhi and Tim Duncan. Get past Steve nash suns, and a potent Western conference. I didn't even Mention the Prime Golden State Warriors.
Lebron got alot of rest as a result while the western conference teams were beaten up because they were so competitive. Remember the Hell OKC and Warriors had to go through? they pretty bush burned out themselves just to get to the NBA Finals.
While Lebron is in the east with Wade and Bosh, and Allen, and Kyrie and Love etc.. against nobodies. You call that shyt greatness?
That's not hating.. that's a legitimate observation.
And don't bring up Pacers.. because PG wasn't going to stop a super team and Roy Hibbert averaged zero points and zero rebounds in the damn playoffs.
And if that's the best he faced.. then you just proved my point.
Imagine if he had to go through OKC, Warriors, Spurs, Lakers just to make it to the finals??????
Dude may not even have 1 ring. Maybe if he's lucky he would get the one for the shortened season
Stephen A. Is absolutely right. MJ23 is unbeatable. 6 rings. And LJ will not win one finals against MJ23
I honestly don’t even watch NBA games that often, outside of when my team, the Warriors are in the playoffs and finals. However, even I see the flaw in using Bulls championships has a measure of how good Michael Jordan is. MJ didn’t win 6 championships, the Bulls did.
Why is LBJ no.2? Where's Kobe, dude?
You're going home…….😂😂😂😂😂
Jordan is special no question.
2011 finals. Show me where Jordan played like that.
When I watch Lebron play, and opposing players (unfortunately) come at and challenge him, sometimes face-to-face, posturing, laughing, and posing, it causes me to reflect that opposing players NEVER behaved in that manner when facing MJ. Never, ever… except for Xavier McDaniel and John Starks, and Jordan went nose-to-nose with them, and we know how that turned out. I understand that the eras and generations are different; however, the reverence and outright fear of Michael Jordan. was always crystal clear.
It never should have been a comparison!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jordan was FEARED by other players, they were AFRAID of him, Lebron is great, but players know he can be stopped. You can even argue that most players are more afraid of playing an on fire Stephen Curry than playing Lebron.
Ding ding ding MJ IS GOD KOBE IS GOD
did you know that MJ played the HARD version of the NBA and he was dominating, LEBRON is playing the EASY version of the NBA and clearly he is NOT dominating. Pls do not compare players from the HARD NBA to this EASY version of the NBA.
Off the subject the la Flopper Will join Golden State next year so he can get his son Bronny in with a good team. I know la flopper read these comments because I commented about him kicking everybody out of an NBA team and picking his own like the schoolyard bully and guess what happened last All-Star It is what exactly happened….
We Talken about
THE FACT
MICHAEL JORDAN IS A
CLUTCH PLAYER. !
They didn't give him the mantle, he took it.
Some say, well look how many championship games LeBron has gotten to, shouldn't that count?…well here is the issue many fail to realize and I will state it in the form of a question : Would LeBron be playing still, having this long career, if he played during the Jordan er when players got smacked around? I think he'd have a shorter career…hence less championship appearances.
MJ, larger than the NBA. Jump man forever. The Culture, Tyson, Jackson, Jordan. Forever legendary
Michael Jordan didn't lose 3 games in a row, from 1990-1998!!!
Geddafuggouddahere!
Kobe is #1
Michael is a VERY CLOSE #2.
Stephen is wrong on just one thing. Kobe is number 2, then Lebron.
Kobe is number 2
Don’t forget the style! Even if Lebron would win 2 or 3 or 4 more titles he would never be as good as MJ because it was pure sport poetry watching MJ. Always remember the style of goats like Federer compare to other great tennis players of anytime. Usain Bolt, Roberto Baggio who didn’t win so much cause of the ignorance of the idiocracy of his time but was pure beauty watching playing soccer. You never get tired watching them. Not the same with those that are great but miss the one thing only goats posses! The perfect style.
The debate is over.
Dnt ever put old clumsy lebron in the same sentence as mj, since mj start wining he never look back muchless to be swept
Basketball goal is to shoot the ball in the basket ..
Who have the most point?
Championship is a team effort.
Who's on the top will always be the Greatest 🏀💯👑
Now that's what I'm talking about. Just focus on things that we can accurately measure and not on anecdotal things like "clutch gene", "eye test", and other made up terminologies by the media.
MJ annihilated a lot of future hof in his era without mercy. He was so dominant he didn't let anyone win a ring after he won his first. Now compare that to Lebron's "dominance".
If you trash talk Jordan, there was always a price to pay on the court and he has a very long memory. The evidence is all over YouTube, you can start with that first dunk on Mutombo. If you trash talk LeBron, he is likely to try to talk you into coming over to Klutch Sports(see Draymond Green), and rightly so. I mean Klutch Sports is the GOAT at getting guys paid!
The comparison cannot even be made considering how physical basketball was when Jordan played
The MJ cultists only remember the six winning years, the other seven seasons are a blur in their minds. They don’t remember MJ being bounced out of the playoffs not once, not twice, not thrice, not four, not five, not six, but 7(seven) times, never being able to beat the Bad Boy Champion Pistons losing to them three times, being swept by Larry Legends Celtics, never winning without Pippen and Jackson. All you MJ cultists like to point out LBJs six finals losses of the whopping 10 he has made, a record 8 of those consecutively, winning 4 with three different teams with three different coaches and many different support casts.
And I watched Kareem as a rookie when his name was Lou Alcindor, so I’m old school, and LBJ is the greatest most complete NBA I’ve ever seen, IMHO. It’s not as clear cut as you want to make it out to be.
Look out everyone that supports real youtubers and not maninstream youtube. this is the preshow before the espn exit that is coming. All the mainstream networks are on the decline. Their crowd is boomers and old gen xers.. They do not have gen y or Gen z attention span.. So you will see more of this "trying to look like they are not mainstream , when they are"…Notice when you search youtube for any poltical news all you get now in the search is " Mainstream media companies"..what happen to the independent youtubers who were giving the "real info..""..think about it..
All facts!
1 yeah whatever rings are cool but you act like lebron has 0 he has 4 and was playing against way better teams if any of the teams that lebron lost 2 played in the 90s Jordan would have maybe 1 ring I can definitely see Jordan beating the mavs but Jesus if lebron ever seen the freaking jazz it would be a mass murder. 2 yeah mj did win 10 scoring titles but lebron is number 1 all time in scoring and passed mj with less FG attempted and he actually passes the ball that’s why y’all hate him he’s top 5 in assist but 2 end the whole 10 time scoring champion thing ask yourself who was the scoring champion before mj ? Exactly And if you trade lebron stats year for year with Jordan he would have won 12 scoring titles sorry lebron lost 2 James harden Russ kd Kobe etc. 3 mj is the greatest defensive player of all time but that doesn’t mean he is the most valuable on the court lebron can guard 1-5 mj is limited to just the PG/SG and maybe a shorter sf but lebron can hold his own against anyone and he’s a better shot blocker bc idk maybe lebron is 6’9 270 and Jordan is 6’6 195 so it makes sense that lebron would be a little harder to score on. 4 and getting swept at 38 wow I’m so sorry we’re did Jordan go ?? And the reason mj was the greatest undisputed back when he played is because lebron was just a a little from Akron Ohio not knowing what would happen if he picked up a basketball now we know
It's not even a legitimate discussion. It is only the topic of conversation constantly because of a sports media machine that is addicted to recycling controversial talking points and creating arguments for the sake of having something to talk about every single day of every year for 12-16 hours a day. LeBron is the longevity king, his stat totals are absurd, but the game boils down to winning or losing in the end and when we're splitting hairs and nitpicking with player comparisons (because all time greats are/were all phenomenal individual players) it is their accomplishments which separate them, and there is no accomplishment in basketball more valuable than an NBA championship – your success in impacting winning towards obtaining that is the difference.
Lebron just needs to stop it all and say what he knows is true! MJ is it! Lebron will gain so much respect if he just makes it dead, and confess with his tongue lol
