I’ve always said that about walking across someone’s putting line especially longer putts. I don’t do it but I mean it’s kind of crazy that it’s a thing bc tons of other golfers walk all over those greens all day long.
Recently went golfing with a friend who is kinda clueless. He was sitting there silently while someone did their practice swings and started talking as soon as he went back for his actual swing. It was such perfect timing 😂
one of my very first times golfing my friend and I got caught up so we played with these two old dudes. i chipped in and went and got my ball. turns on out i walked right in the middle of one of the guys lines and left i giant footprint in front of the hole. I didn’t even know my friend had to tell me. He also missed the putt… If i didn’t tell him it was my first year of golfing he probably wouldve had a few words for me lol
