FootJoy Hyperflex golf shoes don’t scream FootJoy, but the knit-upper golf shoes are waterproof, feature spikes and are lightweight enough to wear in a casual round of golf. Ryan Ballengee reviews the shoes, including the Boa fitting system.

  1. I miss the days if metal spikes. Spikes make a difference. Spikeless are just nubbed sneakers

  2. Not all spikeless are built equal. I’ve had several pairs that grip great even on the slickest teeboxes, and I have a swing speed/weight transfer that definitely pushes a shoe’s ability to stick to the turf. Horses for courses I suppose

  3. They run true to size, or should I go 1/2 to 1 die down? I’d see where some say they run big
