  1. It’s just a fact that Mike Trout is the greatest player of this generation. End of discussion.

  2. No, judge isn’t the best player and it isn’t close. Stop it. Until he starts pitching and pitching like a top of the rotation arm, end of story.

  3. Another year of "If it all falls into place, watch out!" From the Angels. One of these years it has to all fall into place, right?

  4. Aaron Judge is an Elite hitter and elite fielder. Shohei is an elite pitcher and really fucking good hitter. I think the desire to give Judge the crown comes from everyone loving shohei so much no matter what he does

  5. I love the Judge Triplets. Arson has been MIA in the Giants… and tbh I believe Aarom is not the best player, his brother Aaron is tho!

  6. LIAM HENDRICKS LETS GOOOO.!!!!!DOnt care who I root for this is an awesome story!

  7. Trev is right, Judge is the best hitter but shohei is easily the best player in MLB I mean no one can attempt what he does

  8. I live in California and my friends don't even know who Jeter, Griffey, Bonds, Kershaw, Trout, or Ohtani are 😭. It's depressing.

  9. Just lost my mother in law to cancer. Hendriks' return will always be my most cherished live baseball moment. So glad he's back and dealing heat

  10. When he can come out and save a game with 1.2 innings of shut out pitching 2 times a week, he'll be in the convo.

  11. Rosey you are fine! I'm a Stro's fan but the A's have a special place in my heart and they have some of my favorite ex-Stro's who are getting a chance to play everyday finally. No need to punch down lol Oakland has a lot more issues to deal with.

  12. To quote the stats from the foolish baseball video on Judge, after the all star break the Yankees were ranked 16th in WRC+, without Aaron Judge in the lineup they fall all the way to 29th. During that stretch he also drove in or scored 1/3 of the Yankees runs despite being 1/9 of the lineup. People always talk about baseball being a sport where one good player can’t make that much of a difference in a team’s success, usually referencing Mike Trout while they do so, but Aaron Judge decided he was just going to be as productive as three hitters in a lineup last year and basically dragged the Yankees to the post season despite the rest of the teams best efforts following the all star break

  13. Liked for Hendricks, and I am a huge Yankee / Judge fan.. he is definitely the best, what he’s doing with the bat is incredible

  14. Tuned in to Trev on the Twins broadcast last night……..I hope he enjoys his "Roadie" with the Twins and the Crew. Get those ratings UP people!

  15. For anyone outside of the Angels spectrum, Thaiss has converted to catcher pretty well. He looks like a catcher. We all knew he was a good guy but just know thats Angels baseball. We have controversy sure, but the organization has always been respectful of the moment.

  16. I couldn't agree with Rose more – as someone who watched their sports-loving brother cope with cancer until the very end, seeing Liam jog out onto that field was something I could never possibly hope to describe in a million, let alone a few short sentences here. To Trey, to Buck, to all those in our baseball worlds (and beyond) who live with it, cope with it, or love someone who does — I send all my love and support your way. I hope one day no one will have to face the life-altering reality of that kind of diagnosis.. but in the meantime, its nice to see competitors on the field and in the stands acknowledge something greater than our desire to see our own teams win, to see Liam out there was a different and more important kind of win ❤

  17. No matter who makes it from either Central, it is a pity playoff appearance and they aren't doing anything. Cardinals have the talent to be a contender, but no pitching. Brewers could maybe be if they had MVP Yelich. Twins need Buxton heathy and in CF (which will never happen) and Correa to be himself plus this pitching to keep up unsustainable success and probably still need to add to be a real contender. They are all token playoff appearances unless the Cardinals pony up for 2 or more starting pitchers. All of them should be willing to sell expiring deals even if they are in playoff contention because it is fake playoff contention anyways based on Central division getting an automatic qualifier. The AL in particular is going to be ridiculous because there are 9 teams better than the Twins and 4 won't make it. Maybe Twins or one of the other Central teams jumps a team or 2 from that 9, but I still think it is almost a certainty that no one believes the AL Central (and likely the NL Central) playoff team deserves their spot when we get to October this year. Those GMs have just not built very complete teams.

  18. Surprises me how little people understand Ohtani. And why nobody can do what he is doing in such top level.
If Judge pitched 3 innings (even without being top pitcher), his offensive stats will be gone for three following days. If he pitched weekly…Judge will no longer be hitting in the majors.
That is why comparing Ohtani with other players stats is meaningless.
He is a physical and athletic phenomenon.
Thats why the TOP PLAYERS are the ones respecting Ohtani most coz they know what is their limit, that includes Judge.

You can have your favorite players and preferences but comparing apples and oranges are meaningless. It ends always up in bullying or denigrate a player which is so childish.
Respect all these top performing players for their hard work but TWP is own category and he has NO COMPETITION THERE.

  19. Love all of you guys at JM, especially you two and the show. RHUDE nor any other company should be selling jackets or shirts for thousands of dollars… Ridiculous and unpractical. Money should be in circulation for better things.

  20. Marcus STROman to the Astros would be great right now with how our pitching is looking. The name helps.

  21. Correct me if I'm wrong…but Aaron judge has done nothing against the Astros in three league championship series. Jose altuve has won all those series. So I'd rather have altuve. Ill give arrow judge this, he's very tall and rich. Good for him.

  22. I have to disagree with Rose’s perspective and I think its dangerous and what drove me away from sports 15 years ago. It isn’t about looking up to players as “god like” celebrities. Its about knowing that on any given day you can witness something truly special. I am not casting shade on why he feels that way. Thats the world hehas known his whole career But the “aura” he eludes to hasn’t existed for more than a generation. The media has deified pro athletes and celebrities in a way that creates unhealthy relationships between them and fans.

  23. They’re paying him 40,000,000 a year. He better be above a 160 OPS + for the next five years otherwise someone got played.

  24. How you should frame the question about Judge is this . Are we experiencing the peak of his career and how long does it last?

  25. Nah Ohtani is not even close to be the best pitcher and hitter
