The BEST Hybrid of 2023… But WHY Won’t You Buy It?!

  1. love this – play the clubs that get the job done. I use 2006 nike 3 wood because the modern 3 woods go way too far!

  2. Good Good video I just came from PGA store looking for high lofted hybrid which are usually women clubs but that doesn’t bother me it’s nice to know they come in Regular shaft I’ll keep and eye for them now thanks

  3. That seemed like a good idea until I spent the last 30 minutes or so looking for the product online. There's still a lot of 3rd generation (white upper surface) left in some stores and these stores have not added the 2023 (blue upper surface) to their stock. I could not find any store that offered anything other than a lady flex shaft. If you want something else some stores can fit another shaft, but that's a significant extra cost. Lowest loft is the 23° #4 hybrid. So if you wanted say a 19° #3 hybrid you'll have to use a different model.

Bottom line is this is clearly a good idea, but TM would rather invest in marketing clubs in their mens' range – and online golf stores stick rigidly to "ladies-only" comercial policies.

  4. James, Did you ask your wife to play with her club. I think you better start using that club. You’re hitting it well. LOL. Thanks for another great video.

  5. I've always played better golf using my mum's club in my younger days .. women clubs are usually shorter which probably suits me with my 29 inch legs 😊 good good putter 😂

  6. The Adams Hybrids and woods are amazing. I just got my wife a Adams 6 Hybrid. To see how it works for her. Just an outstanding club for $70. We just couldn't beat the performance vs cost. She loves, look of the kaleas. But those are triple the cost.

  7. On a trip back to the UK without my clubs I put a set of borrowed clubs together – some were my sisters and they were great – not quite as long as my own but seemed more consistent with them and I had a ton of fun. If it works with your gapping or just leads to lower scores – why not?

  8. My 4 ball don't mind me using the wife's clubs as long as I hit off the reds and wear frilly underpants. Hard to putt well with tickly undies though.
Did I just say that out loud?!!

  9. James is the best. Always looking for what works better. Wife is busy with the baby, now she’s down a hybrid!

  10. It’s all about looks and price when it comes to choosing a hybrid for me. I like my hybrid to look like the ping g25 shape, labels don’t bother me as I play a ladies 3 iron quite well in fact got me my only hole in 1. I just changed the grip to midsize and felt fantastic. I’d have no problem playing this taylormade hybrid for the right price

  11. I played with a set of women's clubs and had success with them. the only issue was the driver. too soft of a shaft flex for me

  12. The new srixon MK2 hybrid is an absolute beast and it be been striping it. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

  13. Nice job on that. Do you think the spin was low because of the shaft flex? Would the light flex or ladies flex create the spin that a slow swing speed would need to produce any distance? I remember Freddy Couples, years ago, mentioned he had his wife's 4 wood in his bag for a few seasons, because he could really hit it. That was back when he played Lynx clubs, probably 25-30 years ago. Go figure a tour pro using a club from his wife's bag. Any way good video.

  14. Hybrids are wonderful clubs for those of us who should/need an easier swinging motion for whatever reason. Thanks for bring this club to the forefront. I carry a 3 and 4 hybrid now due to shoulder surgery and they are becoming a tremendous addition to my bag. Thanks from Boise Idaho!

  15. I'm all for saving money, although currently, I don't have a place for a hybrid in my bag.

(Also, is that a Titleist 905R driver 👀)

  16. I use the irt machete rail hibrids in a 32,28 and 24 degree loft not the best quality but the forgiveness is good. But a Good good putter is what I need

  17. Taylormade demos are plentiful, so just pick up a used SIM or SIM2 hybrid for less.

  18. Thoughts on why a person would look at a hybrid (4 or other) assuming he/she has a full set of clubs?

  19. If you struggle enough to justify a club like this, then do yourself a favor and go get lessons in stead of new clubs. There’s no such thing as magic clubs!
