The Memorial Day weekend forecast for the New Jersey, Delaware Bay region includes a tent sale in Waretown with a new bait & tackle option on Barnegat Bay. Out here on the gas docks, we run through the latest news and features in the June edition of The Fisherman which includes a deeper dive into striped bass (6:20) with excellent reports along the North Jersey Coast right now, big bluefish too. It’s grand slam action this weekend (9:13) with stripers, blues, back bay fluke and weakfish especially at night in South Jersey. Heading all the way to Cape May (12:25) the black drum action continues to impress, but of course black sea bass throughout the region has more boats sailing for the very first time in ’23 this holiday weekend.
