  1. I've been wanting De Zerbi to replace Klopp since January when Klopp and FSG decided not to improve the club. He's such an exceptional Manager, Brighton began to feel his impact from his day one. Graham Porter's leaving Brighton was a blessing in disguise. Many will find them hard to beat next season.

  2. Forget all the Brighton chatter that was a brilliant cat call, don't think I've laughed so much in a call! ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

  3. Chelseaโ€™s name holds weight Brighton doesnโ€™t. London is a more attractive gerographical location than Brighton and thatโ€™s the facts. My girlfriend lived in Brighton and there is generally nothing there or anything surrounding it. So why would a footballer wanna be there

  4. If de zerbi can hold on to his key players and sign some good players, it will not be a surprise if they win it, they should not become a team like ajax which is a buying market for bigger clubs

  5. Cant keep competing selling your best players? The same was said before Cucurella, Bissouma and Trossard were sold. Those players were key at the time. Where would the midfield strength come from without Bissouma? The wing/full back quality without Cucurella? Where would the goals come from without Trossard? Not to mention losing Potter. You cannot stand still in football, which also means you cannot fear change. Instead, be ready for it when it comes. Brighton are always ready. Don't fear losing Mac Allister and Caicedo. Be excited to see what the next evolution of this team will look like.

  6. Genuine question here, has anyone thought about the possibility that its not actually individuals but the club as a whole is the reason the team overachieves, the players play well beyond what everyone perceives as their level? 3/4 of the players, staff have been car crashes at other clubs. Its the club that is great, not the individuals.

Although if we are speaking about man for man, I Genuinely think he could be Pep's replacement in a few years.

  7. We are going to need a Garfield interview after every Brighton Europa League game from here on out…

  8. De Zerbi already saw what happened to his predecessor, he destroyed him at the Amex aswell. Don't think De Zerbi will be making that mistake

  9. the Brighton hierarchy needs to remember it's the players that win the matches. If they start believing their own hype and thinking they can keep selling their best players and maintain their current level through the genius of their boardroom, then they should look at what's going on at Leicester, Southhampton, and even Tottenham to see what happens when owners think they're too smart to spend.

  10. He hasn't even had a full season in the league yet, still hasn't proved himself, are we ignoring their 5-1 smashing at home to Everton plus when Chelsea get their act together next season let's see Brighton qualify for Europe then, Brighton like Southampton this is as far as they will go, getting recruitment right doesn't last forever.

  11. The only concern for Brighton right now is the Napoli job I reckon and it looks like Enrique is getting that.
