Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel RickShielsPGAGolf. This YouTube channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!

I specialise in golf club reviews, golf club unboxing, golf club news, golf club head to heads, and all about golf clubs.

I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!

On this channel I also make fun and entertaining golf content based on crazy and sometimes “gimmicky” golf clubs. I like to cut through the marketing hype about products and I like to give you the honest truth about golf equipment.

If you enjoy the channel make sure you hit subscribe and also tap the notification bell so that you are always notified when I release a new video.

  1. I use the same upright chipper/putter stroke from 30ish yards in. It's definitely much easier to deliver the same strike with consistently but leads to lower flighted shots that often roll too far.

This was a lesson aimed at me too. lol

  2. Wow, what an amazing lesson. This guy really knows his job. I have learned more here than all my yutube videos on pitching and sand trap exits.

  3. After hearing Dan on the podcast, and with ricks endorsement, I bought his book, read it in about an hour and half. while i would say the information wasnt ground breaking, or a secret, it was presented very well, no nonsense and really explains why youre doing the things your doing. worth the price of admission for sure.

  4. Think Rick is using what I thought I learned watching Phil Mickelson, hinge and hold……too many thoughts

  5. I never, ever comment but this is amazing. I play off of 8 and i would say i have always been a confident wedge player, but this, either cements my play or helps where i lack confidence. Thank you for an hours free lesson, of which i doubt i could afford . 😂

  6. Great content and just what i needed because my short game used to be my very strong part of my game but recently its been rubbish, im playing Wednesday so fingers crossed 🤞keep up the great work rick ⛳👍

  7. Once I transferred over to this form of chipping, I ended up getting more backspin and harder checking up of the ball using my 56° over my 60° wedge. My 60° is now only used in extreme situations where height is the top priority, period. I’ve absolutely nailed my goals for consistent and accurate reads on distance using this exact chipping method. The big mental thing is being able to totally compartmentalize the address stance of driver, woods/irons, pitching, and chipping. Once you nail those address positions and have this chipping strategy down, scores WILL drop. 👍🏻😎👍🏻

  8. I love the fact that after all this time Seve keep being the short game standard
