Francis is gonna get his face boxed up BAAAD. Let's be honest. Francis boxing for most of his mma career wasn't good. It wasn't until his last few fights that he got better. If Jake Paul can out box mma fighters like silva wtf is an actually good boxer gonna do to Francis? And hw boxers don't sell that good. The beat hw boxers sell low numbers. So is Francis gonna box some no name hw and sell 100k buy? Then he has some chance at winning. But if he fights Joshua he's getting koed BAD. And Joshua is the A side and will politic the money. I disagree with the whole letting someone go. If the ufc has a chance to match or beat it and chooses not to that's them saying "bye". They are 100% choosing to allow you to leave. Ufc 100% could've allowed ngannou to box. But they said no. They didn't care to give you.what you wanted knowing full well you will leave. That's them letting you leave. Ufc could easily give Francis 10m a fight and get him boxing matches. If the ufc matched or passed ngannous demands and ngannou said no then that's ngannou leaving. Being like "do this and I will stay" is you giving the ufc the power. Ufc didn't want ngannou for the price ngannou wanted to stay. Ufc let ngannou leave when ngannou wanted to stay. If you give the ufc a chance to match or pass your current offer and they say no that is them letting you leave

I think the BMF belt is silly and whether I agree or not I understand why the belt was never on the line. The ufc views the BMF like it’s own weight class they can use arbitrarily with only a select few fighters classed as “BMF”. After Diaz, Jorge never fought another BMF thus the belt was never on the line.
