Contested each May, the PGA Championship is the second major championship in golf’s annual rotation, and perennially features the strongest field in the men’s game based on the Official World Golf Rankings. Known for dramatic finishes and notable champions, the Wanamaker Trophy—which has been awarded to the winner since 1916—is inscribed with names such as McIlroy, Woods, Nicklaus, and Player. The 2024 PGA Championship is set to take place between May 16–19 at Valhalla Golf Club. The reigning champion is Brooks Koepka.

That huge of a roar for a man who finished 15th. That's pretty special.
6:16 Rory yells "ya, really good!" I mean can you imagine! Good for him.
These are 4 rounds I'll never forget!! Dudes such a good guy & amazing player…I just wanna see him play! Well done Michael Block👏👏👏
💪😎👍
Don't know who won… but we all know who Michael Block is now… great story
Was an awesome Showing but Once Rory Said it Went STRAIGHT IN THE HOLE, Don’t keep asking him!!!! His week was Tremendous but bc of the Tour being at War w LIV … CBS AND NANCE, was a lil too much imo!
He stole the show this week, sorry Koepka. Looking forward to seeing him in next year's tourney. Also looking forward to his Champion's Tour career should he go that route.
This will win a ESPY Award for something!
I wish my dad & father-in-law were still with me to watch this past weekend with Michael Block making it the best week of golf in many years. This is why the PGA is so great. Everyday guy golfer and we get to live some of his dream life together. PJ
This guy was signing kids hats and stuff on the putting green on Sunday, every other pro just ignored them…. This guy actually cares
Magic ball.
The way he saved par on 17&18 on day 4 was phenomenal.
I wonder if he would take an offer from LIV if they approached him.
PGA pushing this story so hard
They hate that a LIV player won 😂
love that he's playing in a hoodie! 😀
In one weekend Mike Block has become the face of Golf and is somehow remaining humble through it all. Instant legend. Netflix, get on the documentary.
This not a racist comment, so it's good to see a male caucasian getting great attention from the sports world! I just hope Michael Block isn't a flash in the pan and then back to obscurity.
The ace on 15, the odds must be astronomical for it to go straight in?!
Such a humble guy, easy to root for. Sports can be so special at times.
thanks to technology they can do anything in sport's magnetic technology drone balls pucks anything they desire they have the capability to decides final scores who wins etc. especially that hole in 1 was a fn joke logic common sense tells you that physics balls hit that high and comes straight down and doesn't bounce not even a cm tells the story fn trash sports for dumb mass asses wtf up cockroaches u been had again will they do another planned scam demic probably
Michael Block with his humility and quiet, calm demeanor, should be a front runner for Sports Person of the Year. What an improbable but exceptional story. I hope we get to see him again from time to time regardless of how he finishes at Valhalla next year.
Contrast 1:09 with 6:25
6:25 Simply perfect
Kudos to Rory. The playing-partner makes a difference.
Tells you what this means when an achievement like Koepka’s (5 majors in 7 seasons with 3 out of the last 6 PGAs) is completely overlooked
Block being a club pro, how on earth did Michael Jordan get his digits?!?! MB, better print and frame that text message from MJ! It'll be one hell of a story to tell!
The slow build…on Thursday he's got 10 – 20 people watching him with a few random, polite claps…by Sunday he's got a Tiger gallery and there's a mob known as the "Blockheads" going ballistic…the ace on 15 was incredible, but of course like all holes in one it was luck…the up and down on 17 & 18…that was balls
They’re only pumping this guy because a LIV player won the tournament
If you can share Block's emotions, that was a roller-coaster. Rory proved himself a truly great playing partner, open and generous as always.
I was sitting then jumping out of my seat. Great for the sport.
forever a legend in golf
Need to book a tee time at Arroyo Trabucco in Mission Viejo CA 🙂
I loved an interview where he stated he only watched a few times when the pros he was playing with hit – he did not want to remind himself where he was! As the pressure grew day by day Michael took it in stride…wow, what a performance for the ages!
Great that the cameras stayed with him all the way to the green
He is the everyman, I love it
Definition of stroking it
How much he shallows the club, crazy
This is the typa shit that inspired every disney movie between 1990 and 2005.
Great golf !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In a feature group on Sunday, fire an ACE, and Rory is the first person to shake his hand!! Legendary 👏👏
Got in a rollercoaster
Look at this guy — slowly realising he’s one of the best in the world. And we get to watch him do it. Magical.
We love it!!!!
BLOCK! BLOCK! BLOCK! BLOCK! BLOCK!
I can’t wait till the Liv tour signs him.
During Michael Block's final round at the PGA, my wife gave birth to a beautiful baby boy and she wasn't even pregnant, this is the sort of miracle that only Michael Block can make happen.
First there was God, then there was Jesus, now there's Michael Block.
Very humble man. Good husband, good father and very relatable to the average person.
Unlike the multi million dollar golfers who think more highly of themselves than they should.
There is serendipity in this. I don't remember what tournament it was, but a couple of years ago or so, Rory's second shot on the first hole slam dunked and broke the hole. They had to hold up play and fix the hole for play to continue. For him to be witness to this shot is incredible! To be a part of two slam dunk miracle shots? Almost unimaginable!! I wish all pros would take a lesson from Michael's humble disbelief of his own dream. He is truly an inspiration.
