Bubba Watson has always been a unique player on the PGA Tour, for a variety of reasons. Whether it’s his unusual left-handed swing, his incredible driving distance, or his one-of-a-kind off-course personality,Watson has always been at the forefront. However, his recent comments about the PGA Tour have him in even more of a spotlight than normal. What exactly is it that he’s accusing the PGA Tour of, and what will it mean for the Tour going forward?

The PGA are hypocrites. Slimy at best…
The difference is the LIV guys are getting their money from a rogue regime that is doing this for sports washing purposes. Which is a big difference. As far as Bubba and others toting the line 'doing it improve the game'…..everyone knows they did it for the big pile of money. The poor CW ratings prove that most people don't like the format.
So when you purchase that $1000 club, well we now know where the majority of the money is going. So the incentive is not to produce better equipment, but to have more top pros in the manufacturers hip pocket and let them sell the clubs.
Much ado about nothing … appearance fees have been around forever .. Bubba Watson is just another golfer that made a wise decision going to LIV because his golf playing days in the real professional golf were basically over. Name another golfer who was booed like he’s was in ‘16 WM Open? Nobody ever .. was a piece of 💩then and still is today.
The PGA Tour has attempted to shape a media driven narrative where they hold the moral high ground, but we all know that is nonsense. Phil was correct, the only way the PGA Tour would change was for important players to leave. LIV is a nice change, and the PGA Tour has now adopted some of those changes to benefit the players. When all is said and done, LIV has had a positive impact on professional golf, more money, more events, and more opportunities.
It is well known that Tiger took appearance fees from the Saudi’s in the past.
PGAT saying they arent involved in sponsored appearances is just avoiding the fact they are reaping benefits from it. Bubba is correct, nobody should be pointing fingers one way. Who cares when its all said and done. I just feel bad for LIV players getting ridiculed while people are unaware how money hungry the administration of the PGAT is. At least in the LIV the players make big earnings. After all, they are what makes the professional sport awesome and inspire us, not the administration.
Look only the known names on the pga tour get paid those fees. The lesser players don’t get those perks. We’re talking about the 10 % of players. I agree that the players shouldn’t have to incur any costs while playing on the pga tour. The players that didn’t make the cut in the championship last week were paid 4,000. Now if your not a 10% player with sponsorships, that 4000 will leave you with pocket change im sure after u pay for a weeks stay at a hotel, flight, eating etc. doesn’t seem altogether fair for someone considered playing pro. All other athletes in the pros get a guaranteed sum. The same should b true for pga players.
Look at PGA payouts since LIV they are more than double how did that happen?? sandbagers PGA
Club president, probably: “Hey Bubba, I would like you to come to our tournament because I also want to get a private lesson from you.”
Bubba, probably: “My rate for lessons is $100k per hour.”
Club president: “Not a problem.”
The dispute between LIV and PGA is only due to the fact that the latter wants to keep the monopoly position that today it enjoys in the sport of golf
He is delusional
PGA is as dishonest as Washington. Heard many times high profile players offered 7 figure appearence fees. Their just upset because they lost so many big name players who drew big attendance numbers.
