Keep your head behind the ball at impact. Although golfers tell each other to keep their head down in the golf swing, this advice isn’t quite correct. On the backswing, the head will shift slightly off the ball, and it will stay behind the ball though impact. This will help you hit more into the back of the ball instead of down on top of it.

Keeping the head behind the ball. I seem to then have more weight on back foot and hit fat shots!!!
So is it best to concentrate on keeping your head behind the ball?
Hey. TCL. (Tossle Cap Lady aka BG beanie gal)
You speak strong truth.
I am 40 years into bad habits. Too many whiffs. Too manus GNTs.
But …..the head behind the impact. Important.
Thank you……

Duck. There is a red arrow aimed at your beanie. 😮
Thanks for a great video. Subscribed.
This was really important for me and changed my strike quality. However, I've started fatting the ball a little now from time to time. Do you think it could be related?
Also, mentally, it feels like I come into the ball too shallow, particularly when the ball is sat down a little. I just cant mentally imagine the club making clean contact. However, on video, it looks ok.
Any thoughts?
