The USGA is a nonprofit organization that celebrates, serves and advances the game of golf. Founded in 1894, we conduct many of golf’s premier professional and amateur championships, including the U.S. Open and U.S. Women’s Open. With The R&A, we govern the sport via a global set of playing, equipment, handicapping and amateur status rules. The USGA campus in Liberty Corner, New Jersey, is home to the Association’s Research and Test Center, where science and innovation are fueling a healthy and sustainable game for the future. The campus is also home to the USGA Golf Museum, where we honor the game by curating the world’s most comprehensive archive of golf artifacts. To learn more, visit https://www.usga.org.

It was nice to see Seve caddying for Hale Irwin 👍
irwin was always hot te,pered. he was very jrlous of fuzzy's popularity, and let it fracture his ego. everything bothered him this last round. it's a shame because he was always to control himself before. he just lost it this time. just think if he had been paired with daly on this day
Story about Hale Irwin. The tour used to stop just outside Philadelphia from 1960 – 1980's. It was called the IVB Golf Classic. Irwin was at a local movie theater on Friday night after his round in 1977. A 12 year approached him outside of the theater after the movie and said "Hal can I have your autograph?" Irwin looked at him and said "Son, when you learn to call me by my correct name I will give you my autograph". Irwin walked away in a huff and the 12 year old left in tears. Witnessed it myself. Nice guy.
Surely the USGA can produce and upload better video quality than this. Nevertheless, thankful they are posting these historical U.S. Open broadcasts.
