Contested each May, the PGA Championship is the second major championship in golf’s annual rotation, and perennially features the strongest field in the men’s game based on the Official World Golf Rankings. Known for dramatic finishes and notable champions, the Wanamaker Trophy—which has been awarded to the winner since 1916—is inscribed with names such as McIlroy, Woods, Nicklaus, and Player. The 2023 PGA Championship is set to take place between May 18–21 at Oak Hill Country Club. The reigning champion is Justin Thomas.

    yup, all the LIV naysayers are really fucking quiet now. Just because you limit the numbers of players, does not mean that all of them are going to kick their feet up and stop competing. There are 5-6 players that chose to do that after making the move, but the rest understand they still need to perform to get back into the major chanpionships. Glad this happened, PGA and USGA are hypocritical bullies that deserve this slap of a wake up call.

    So great watching all the clowns on golf channel hating every minute of this, especially the lord god himself Brandel Chamblee, Lerner hating every minute as well. He better be on the Ryder Cup team. Getting tired of all the hypocrites criticizing all the LIV players. It’s a joke and btw, I guess the lack of competition take is out the window.

    Stop for a moment and think what just happened. Brooks won a major! He is a golfer. The media (evil as it is) has forced everyone to choose sides. Fact, Brooks is a good golfer and he won a major. Just like Jon Rahm did at the Masters. Who cares what tour they play on. These golfers are simply that good. For us fans, just enjoy the moment. We all have favorite, "golfers" and sure we are bummed when they don't win! But you cheer for the golfer, not the tour. Just like politics, they are all shady in some way!

    Good on Liv for this win. Maybe in a few years time we can skip the Presidents Cup which is boring and bring in a Liv vs PGA cup
