More of these, please! The process and struggle are both real. Your outlook and approach to the shots are refreshing. Especially, in these days of social media where ONLY the best is shown. Thank you for allowing us to see the fact that even you are going through it. KEEP GOING! 🙏👍
I'd love to play at the level you play at in a slump. Fantastic content, keep it going Gabby❤
I really enjoy these how to play videos as part of your repertoire. So many videos are just, "watch me" videos, and I like how you describe the set up, the plan and the execution. I also like that you keep it real. Great job Gabby!
I wish my best day was as good as your bad day, ill get there one day
I’m really enjoying your videos Gabby, you’re an amazing golfer! I just got my first set of clubs last week and have only been to the driving range a few times to learn to how to hit each club. I’ve been watching your videos and I would love to see you do a how to play a 9 hole par 3 course for beginners. Would love to learn some basic tips from you!
You've got a good mental game. It'll serve you well. My mental golf game is like a 747 crashing into a hazmat freight train, but the "persevere" approach has served me well in other aspects of life. I hope it'll do the same for you.
You also had the 2 hours delay (not sure if you warmed up before restarting). Not easy to start a par 5 'cold' also
Hit the like button. Now let's sit back and watch Gabby do her thing. I saw that interview here down under. He made a comment that his team never played finals for over decades well before his time. But its not a failure. Its a learning curve. You have to learn different aspects like training differently, exercising differently and so on. But he did not agree to the reporter that its a failure not to make the playoffs. Who is your camera person?
Golf is one of those sports you can be in a slump and then a week later, after a little bit of practice, you can't hit a bad shot. Sort of like hitting in baseball or shooting in basketball. I've been in a slump in all of these sports.
Just really proud of you and content is amazing..just what i wanted at this moment 😊
Overclubed Gab😊
I was surprised your swing can come and go. Suppose it does for most of us. Makes me think differently about how players peak for an event. A thought-provoking video, well done.
It's great to see someone making a video who is not only showing themself hitting all great shots but also addressing the issues of having a bad round or a slump period in their game.
So true. My iron-game was the best part of my golf game. I started to practice my Driver swing and one day my Irons just wouldn’t work anymore. – it took a few weeks to find my swing again, but it was worth it and is truly part of getting better.
I have been 20 years in slump with my game😅. I would be happy if my slump lasted only two weeks.
Here are some ideas of other videos. 1. Video on how to play well when you are on a course you are playing for the first time. It seems like I lose 5 strokes on a new course from my average. 2. Playing to a comfortable approach shot yardage (should we do that or just get as close as possible to the green and deal with uncomfortable yardage?). 3. Developing a feel for wedges at less than full swing. Do you do this, or do known shorter back swings? 4. How to get incrementally better. Setting goals for yourself and working hard. That kind so stuff. You're doing great. Keep up the good work.
Currently just had a slump and your video about killing helped! It really kills the joy but just being on the course is a blessing and that is how I get through bad striking periods
I like your "How to Play" videos! Very informative. Please make more. I need the help to make me a better golfer.
She's having fun huh
How often do you practice difficult shots? Bunker, behind trees, etc.?
Love the how to play holes. My 14 year old watches as well. Keep up the great work!!
Gabby, I like your ( how to play ) holes, I'd like to see more
Love the detailed explanations of each shot. It helps us hackers too.
Gabby, can you explain why you use a rangefinder rather than a GPS Watch, or Apple Watch with a GPS Golf app?
Doesn't that hair get in the way at all. That might attributed to 1 stroke. Just wear a hat or a bun. Nice job!
Slumps = Humility
I'm so glad that you posted this honest video. Currently in one of my worst golf slumps, after about 2 months of my best golf ever. Just gotta keep grinding thru it.
How do we know if we are slumping or just not any good? lol
One even in a slump you crush it. Absolutely blistered that iron shot with excellent contact. One take away play your game and let your slump work itself out? And you have a interesting putter grip. Why do you grip the putter that way?
Slump!? u funny, I need a slump like this where I'm still hitting greens. oops, just missed the flag😂
Enjoy.ed the enthusiasm. Aggressive thinking!
Love these videos, more! I also love that you show your tribulations as well as your exaltations! Well done, Gabby.
Gabbygolfgirl, what range finder do you use?
With siren gabby as woodstock used to say to snoopy as he played wimbledon " the tennis gods are against you "!😁😁 The tennis gods are so against you Gabby they moved over to golf just to mess with you😁😁Maybe slow rythm concentrate solid it period !! Might help?
Woodstock" snoopy doesn't believe in the tennis gods" ( but their real😁😁)
Tech has made golf so much easier.. I’d like to see you play a round without your range finder,, and how many strokes you lose
