  1. If PGA allows these over paid liv players play in majors I hope that Rory Rahm and all top players go to liv and PGA will dissappear. Then all golf will be run by Sadie's.

  2. The PGA Tour doesn't run the PGA Championship hence why LIV golfers were allowed to compete. There will be fewer and fewer LIV golfers in major championships as their world rankings drop and LIV player performance in major championships will decline because LIV is not competitive. No cuts, limited fields, and huge money given upfront gives the players no incentive to play well and most of the don't on any given week. All the LIV players have to do is physically show up to collect their huge signing bonus. These players had a contract with the PGA Tour. They choose to break that contract. They have to face the consequences. It would be unfair to the players who chose to stay loyal to the PGA Tour for the PGA Tour to ever allow a LIV golfer to play a tour event again.

  3. @3:44 nowhere did he say props to the pga “tour”, just stop already. The pga and the tour are two different entities. Also the fans haven’t been giving him crap for two years, the LIV tour is barely a year old. Tool

  4. Just awesome for golf in general. More competition is better for golf. The PGA doesn’t own golf. Liv created a fantastic product finally bringing some the best golfers in the world to Australia. I just love it.

  5. I look at it as the PGA is like one of the boys. They've been acting like little bitches and need their asses whooped. Still love the PGA, but geez, let em play and quit complaining. I really hope LIV dominates just to give those old farts running things the medicine they need. I just want to see the best compete. That's why I shoot +30 every weekend.

  6. I think your reading to much into what he said. I see him as a realist. He says it the way it is, not hidden message or double meanings.

  7. Mate its awesome ,he has won ,like he said all the shit hes being thru will take its toll no matter who you are ,the game of golf would be even bigger if they work together,,Golf is hard enough without all the BS in the back ground ,work together not devide ,that seems to be whats going on everywhere in life is dividing us ,stick together people , stay safe

  8. He said well done to the PGA not the PGA Tour. Two different groups. The Tour has nothing to do with the PGA Championship.

  9. Best golfer won , not for liv
    Not for PGA
for himself after all his problems .
    Congrats to all who played

  10. That’s a huge leap to say LIV players are going to win the next two majors just because the one player that, had he know his health would get back to where it is never would have gone to LIV, won this one.

  11. LIV always has 3 in the top 10 at the end and the point system is OUTDATED…for this, I say FU PGA Tour. Ryder Cup F that I want a LIV vs PGA cup!!! Seriously a HUGE win for LIV quite satisfying for an independent contractor myself. Look Saudis buy billions of US arms and sell billions of barrels to the USA where is the same outrage uh-huh that's what I thought effing hypocrites get out of your gas-guzzling cars you freaks.

  12. The PGA of America and the PGA Tour are two different things. They are separate organizations that have nothing to do with each other. The PGA of America is club pro’s, they run the PGA championship. The PGA Tour is the touring pro’s, their tournament is The Tournament Players Championship at Sawgrass. Brooks was referring to the PGA of America in his press conference.

  13. Kudos to Brooks for his victory, I felt that when he shot 4 under Saturday in the rain and the slop, he could grab this thing and win. His body language showed the swagger he had back in 2018 – 19, he looked like he was the winner and everyone else was playing for 2nd place. Between their performances at the Masters and the PGA, LIV golfers have been vindicated. I still remember the Golf Channel on Thursday was talking with that shvantz Davis Love III and he gave a few digs at the LIV, most prominently that he didn't think a LIV golfer could win playing 4 days. IMO, DL III is a jerk, still parroting lines from the Jay Monahan anti-LIV playbook. Maybe, the GC should interview him again and I'd enjoy watching him being served a large helping of crow.
I would most want to see a truce and a plan for a peaceful coexistence between the PGAT and the LIV but, IMO, Commish Jay Monahan is in a position, due to past actions, where he could not acquiesce to any accommodation with the LIV. Well, I can hope. Personally, I'd like to see the Chairman of Augusta National get both Monahan and Norman in a room, lock the doors, and refuse to open them until an agreement or an accommodation is reached. And, can you now imagine what a PGAT versus LIV Ryder Cup format tournament might do for golf popularity and revenue? Bidding for TV broadcast rights, TV commercial time, this would be a Super Bowl type event for golf and make everyone beaucoup dollars. But, until then, I'll just take the best of each tour being chosen for the Ryder Cup.

  14. +it is harder and more compatitive to play 3 days than 4 days just like par 3 more difficult than par 4 to pros.

  15. Koepka's win along with strong finishes by Phil, Cam, Bryson, Reed among others at the first two majors proved that they're not "washed up" players. Brooks just extended his exemption in future majors and wouldn't be surprised if another LIV player won one of the two remaining majors this year. Let's be honest, great players are judged on major wins, not how many PGAT titles (with the exception of the Players) they have.

  16. He did thank the PGA Tour, he thanked the PGA. You must realize the are two different organizations.

  17. Don't confuse the PGA that ran the tournament and allowed LIV players to play and the PGA Tour that King Jay Monahan runs. Big diff

  18. he didn't compliment the PGA TOUR….he complimented the PGA of America who run the tournament..

  19. The more time that passes, people will soften their stance towards the LIV tour. When that happens, fans will be pushing for the PGA to make some concessions and let some of the best players play on tour events. It's good for the game and that's what the commish should be concerned with, not petty rivalries.

  20. I’m happy a Liv golfer won. A lot of Liv golfers even make the cut. Best part is it must’ve drove Jim Nantz out of his mind.

  21. Brooks has pissed off the PGA Tour and the DP Tour – again 12 of the LIV players made the cut! This was never supposed to happen.
