Contested each May, the PGA Championship is the second major championship in golf’s annual rotation, and perennially features the strongest field in the men’s game based on the Official World Golf Rankings. Known for dramatic finishes and notable champions, the Wanamaker Trophy—which has been awarded to the winner since 1916—is inscribed with names such as McIlroy, Woods, Nicklaus, and Player. The 2023 PGA Championship is set to take place between May 18–21 at Oak Hill Country Club. The reigning champion is Justin Thomas.

  1. I played with him at industry hills before and that's when I was like 23???or 24? like 8 years ago…he was still very good player…I'm proud of this guy…he is representing Southern California Section PGA

  2. Teddy Zamba doesn't know what he's talking about. Michael Block is a player. He just said he plays with Beau Hossler & Patrick Cantlay a lot. He was talking like he was conceded. He just has a lot of confidence, from already being in the heat of the moment.

  3. 40+ yo, nothing to lose, taking the chance with lots of confidence, having a presently good relationship with the game, and he's killing it. Heck yeah! Why not?!! 👍

  4. What an accomplishment to make the cut, and have 2 Even par rounds. There are a lot of world class Tour Pros fumbling the bag.

  5. Someone should show this presser to the Irish man-boy on how to not take yourself so seriously and not be a weasel worder.

  6. Why not, bro! You got me on this one. The hands close to the body! Thats world class instruction I didn't know i needed. I'm working on this type of thought, but it makes more sense now. The passion for the game shines with this one. His students must be proud.

  7. Michael is my local pro at Arroyo Trabuco. Literally so pumped to see this. He had a great opening round at American Express this year and just barely missed the cut. He's having a great year and what a stage to compete like this. Really happy to see him doing so good, and so cool to see him getting all this media attention.

  8. I cant imagine Block and Cantlay playing together. Block plays so quickly, and I love it, and then… there's Patrick…

  9. Legend! His interview on the course Thursday was awesome. I remember him briefly from previous tourneys but that was so cool. Rooting him on! The club pro at my course is most incredible guy, I even call him my second Dad and he calls me son. It’s joking around but it’s also true. If you spend time golfing you make so many great relationships with people. It’s my favorite part of the game. Most ppl have a boss at work and even if you’re the top dog, when you get to the course the club pro is everyone’s boss. It’s only at the club where there’s one boss; the club Pro. When that individual is respected and beloved by all its truly special. Our club has that. They have big impact on a lot of our lives! Thanks, Ken!

  10. That moment at the end when he got emotional was interesting and telling. The reporter telling him about Rahm brought the entire thing into perspective for him. Instantly. You could see it just hit him.

  11. What a great guy! Such an awesome story. Michael my whole family will be glued to the TV today watching every shot and rooting for you! Novice advice, relax, go out there with a “who gives a shit“ attitude and play your game and have fun. I think that’s what you did the last two days and you killed it my man!

  12. You can take swing lessons all you want but this is the best "instruction" video out there.
