Contested each May, the PGA Championship is the second major championship in golf’s annual rotation, and perennially features the strongest field in the men’s game based on the Official World Golf Rankings. Known for dramatic finishes and notable champions, the Wanamaker Trophy—which has been awarded to the winner since 1916—is inscribed with names such as McIlroy, Woods, Nicklaus, and Player. The 2023 PGA Championship is set to take place between May 18–21 at Oak Hill Country Club. The reigning champion is Justin Thomas.

  1. 5 majors…first after being on the brink of never playing again. Congratulations Brooks, you a are a great champion.

  2. A great interview, and then, the F bomb….nice….c'mon, Brooksie, you are not the only guy to go through adversity….man up, and shut up..

  3. Making him have to stand for this interview is an example of what separates the PGA from the Open and the Masters.

  7. Brook's LIV's for the majors, Rory must be hating every second of it – just like when the club pro jarred a hole-in-one right in his face 'did it go in Rory' 🤣🤣

  8. With LIV Golfers now being Open & PGA current Champions & Masters 2nd & 3rd places. Makes the US Open look like a great opportunity for more LIV golfer successes

  9. It’s good to learn about Brooks as an individual. I didn’t know that he was a great hitter in baseball (330). Some of his reactions to questions made me feel he was digging in like at the batters box. He’s a lead, follow or get out of the way kinda guy. Injuries can last for decades. My old man got over polio in the 1930’s. Brooks seems to be that kind of strong willed individual!

  10. Few have questioned B’s talent when healthy. His arrogance is off putting (pun intended). Very disappointed in the press during this conference for not asking more LIV questions (i.e. Why did you leave PGA, have you had any regrets, etc…); it was too much of a love fest.

  11. Congratulations Brooks. You are a great golfer but over & above a humble, grounded person. God Bless.

  12. Over the course of 18 holes Rory lost the crowd to a no-name, and lost the “greatest golfer of his generation” label to Brooks on the same day.

  13. Such a worthy winner after all the injuries and all the LIV backlash. Champions always rise to the top. Us OPEN next Brooks!!

  14. I never believed that Scheffler was the best golfer in the world. I had always thought it was Koepka.

  15. An absolutely stunning win, congrats to Brooks and his team at LIV Golf for getting him back to his best. This is what Majors are all about, golfing without prejudice. 👍
