It's true the offense laid an egg in those appearances.
What is different now is the Cowboys drafted Mazi Smith. He is the premier run stopping talent out if the draft and also seen as the top freak athlete in all of college.
Teams will not be able to run on Dallas and then will face the pass rush.
Teams are going to have their own troubles facing this D. The offense will get the ball back even more. The offense won't need astronomical numbers.

Cynthia has the most generic projection model. I still don't understand why they use her like she's some wizard. I wish they would compare her projections to reality because I'm pretty sure she is wrong most of the time.
The Vikings were #8 last year and they focused on the offense in the draft and free agency, they WILL be better. Also the best improvement to the offense is defensive coordinator Brian Flores. Last year the offense was #8 and the defense couldn't get off the field. They will have a lot more offensive opportunities this year. I predict the Vikings will be top 3 as long as Cousins plays the whole season. Even if Jefferson goes down they are top 10 but if Cousins goes down they are done.
