Jon Jones vs Tyson Fury has been a talking point lately after the Joe Rogan statement, continuing the debate between MMA and Boxing. Why would Jones beat Fury?

  1. It's funny, Tyson said he would beat Jon Jones if they were locked in a room together; then when Jones challenged him to an MMA fight, Tyson said he would only fight him in boxing…literally proves the point

  2. These debates are so funny cus it's so surprising that people actually think it's a contest

  3. Anything other then pure boxing?? Idk man… I give anything stand up to fury honestly.

  4. The fact that he’s drilling wrestling with Darren till of all people is hilarious

  5. "Neither guy would leave the room. They wouldn't be fighting each other, they'd be doing something else" 😂😂😂

  6. Drunk Rogan starts comparing everything and does it to fighters and fighter mma or boxers they have egos. Their mentality to be winners. Just Joe did what Helwani does.

  7. Boxers want to see themselves as the most dangerous people on the planet and that’s just not the case. This is a great video, an mma fighter doesn’t even need to be able to kick and wrestle to beat a boxer I say it all the time an mma fighter destroys a boxer in the clinch it’s been shown in triad combat and bkfc. A grappler isn’t getting outclinched by a boxer

  8. I'm more of a fan of MMA then Boxing at this point…and I generally enjoy the Weasels content. But these conversations are so dishonest.

I will put the obvious to rest so as not to be misunderstood. In a real fight the well trained MMA fighter beats the well trained Boxer everytime. So long as weight classes are part of the conversation anyway.

The dishonesty here is the idea these conversations start because a boxer boasts of being able to defeat an MMA fighter in a no holds barred fight. These conversations are almost always started by Mixed Martial Artists or their representatives. The genesis of this conversation is that Ngannou was looking for a boxing match with Fury or Wilder. Why? Because there is much more money in boxing.

The reason there is more money in boxing is simple….its faster and more violent.

The funny thing is most MMA fans are completely unaware of how big boxing was up until the 90s. Tyson fights were near Super Bowl level events. Part of the downfall of boxing wss the death of the American HWT. Part of it was having a defense first snooze fest like Mayweather as its face for a decade. Then the corruption of Carnelo decisions was dirt on the grave. But to bring this full circle part of it was for a century the Boxing HWT Champion was known as the baddest man on the planet…and MMA took that claim….at least once it went to a round based system and the ref was allowed to stand them up.

What is hilarious is thinking how few would watch MMA if it weren't for the MASSIVE rules changes….

  9. Jones: I'm the greatest fighter to ever live
    Fury enters the room
    Jones: I meant at wrestling

  10. Don't you put the asterix next to Jones' name instead of Ngannou?
Jon said that DC wasn't the real champ for winning the belt through vacancy and he did the exact same thing right?
    Plus he popped etc.
Francis was the fight to make, people are too quick to compare him to Gane but maybe they should look at Jones vs Reyes and Santos before judging everything based on his last fight.

  11. Jones won't even stand with the UFC top 5, and you think he could take Tyson Fury…LOL

  12. Lol it would look worse than Jones vs Gane. Tyson would be more lost than Gane looked. His takedown defense would be worse than Darren TIll's
