  1. I do think Franchise Guy is a bit lenient on himself.

For example on the Commanders draft
I think he was more or less right on Davis, Cosmi, and St. Juste.
I think he was wrong on Dyami Brown. He was not an A. He is like a B-. He is not just buried on the depth chart. As a rookie we didn't have Curtis Samuels and Jahan Dotson and he started the 2021 year as the starter. He got benched for guys like Cam Simms. As a player, Dyami Brown has show promise as a deep ball guy, but he may end up being a bit of a one trick pony. He tracks the ball really well and has good speed so he may be a guy who runs a lot of vertical routes. But his route running overall is very meh and holding him back. That is a miss, not a hit.
I think he got Forrest right.
I think he basically got the three 7 round draft picks correct.

Overall I think Franchise Guy did do well with the Commanders draft, in my opinion he really only missed with one pick, but I don't think he is being honest about the Dyami Brown pick. Brown did have an opportunity as a rookie, in fact he started the first four games of his career and he was benched. He is not a good all around WR, but he could find a niche as vertical route runner because he does do that well.

  2. Who could have seen the Micah Parsons move to Edge coming… ?
The main thing I heard from all the pre-draft analysis was: "if you include LBs, then Parsons is the best pass-rusher in this class"… so most people seemed to have an idea it was possible.

  3. Seems like you really struggled to grade the NFC West lol. Also still can't believe the Seahawks passed on Creed🤦‍♀️

  4. Looking forward to seeing the first deep dive on the Cardinals! Always like this, to be self critical is a good skill and to show yourself being so is a good example to set.

  5. I love your content, but I vehemently disagree with your Jaycee Horn take. He had similar college tape to Surtain against better competition, and he had a dominant year in 2022. He still only allowed like 1-2 catches in his 3 games as a rookie.

  6. So hyped for your deep dive series! There is a lot of intrigue in the league this year so I can’t wait to see how you rank everybody

  7. I really don’t understand at all why people say Pitts is not being utilized correctly by Arthur smith. Like dude literally had 1000 yards his rookie season. One of only two players to do that. And then had a down year due to lack of exceptional or at least decent quarterback play

  8. Trey sermon is a certified F genuinely one of the worst running backs I’ve seen on an NFL field over the past few seasons

  9. Spot on with the IQ stuff on Darden. I was a big time Darden guy, had a late 1/ early 2 on him in February. Believe it or not I spoke with Andrew Berry near draft time, Berry said something along the lines of : teams are very low on him due to his knowledge of the game. Seemed like there was some other stuff going on there too. Funny enough now he’s on the browns

  10. I think the issue that zach wilson has comes from just being soft! And I feel the same way about will levis. They can't handle any type of hardship. everything has to be perfect.

  11. Is it odd when grown men have jerseys framed of other grown men and displayed like this? Just an observation

  12. I can promise you Kendrick Green does not have starter upside. He is barely a backup at this point. Swap Dan Moore and Kendrick Green grades and it is very accurate. Well maybe Green would be a C now because of the mediocre year of play.

  13. I think Rondale is more injuries and scheme then him for sure. He cant break tackles like he did in college but has great hands

  14. I mean ZW was good on tape but it was against low-level competition
JD seems to not care bout competition, except the obvious Garret Wilson pick

  15. I will never understand, till this day why the Bears parted ways with Thomas Graham Jr… he was an absoulute dawg in the slot for us when he was playing. It was so nice to see since vildor has literally been the worst slot in the NFL, and I don’t know how he still has a starting job for Chicago smh

  16. I het that you want a great pick in the first, but in qll actuality as long as more than 50% of your picks hit, isn't that a good draft. Youtube draft experts have gotten people so convinced that you need to hit on every single pick, most act like the overall doesn't matter. Its great content, but I feel like if a team hits with some great players, regardless of position value, the draft is still a good draft.

  17. You should make this video, while watching the old video. That way you don't have to guess what your opinion was at the time

  18. Love this video dude! I just don't understand how you're still so low on Fields, and how you don't see the similarities between his years 1-2 and Hurts'

  19. The cowboys had two good pass rushers and two good off ball linebackers. I think that B+ is fair. No one saw him becoming LT 2

  20. 53:28 I understand the thoughts on the Parsons thing, and maybe it’s a case of revisionist history again, but the dude was a REALLY good DE in High school at Harrisburg. It was confusing to a lot of people why Penn State insisted on having him play off ball when that’s not something he really did beforehand, but he’s such a good athlete he made it work regardless.

  21. Yeah Josh Palmer had 800 yards last year. Chargers definitely keep their A grade

  22. Can't wait for the deep dives. They're gonna start in about 2 weeks, right?

  23. You’re doing these a year early. Needs to be at least 3 years of experience before you judge these players

  24. Personally I think you were a little harsh on yourself man, you did a good job
I'd say more like 21/22 out of 31 which is 2/3rds, I'd say that's damn good

  25. No spoilers how did you like forbidden west??? I can’t wait to get that game! One of my most anticipated sequels ever

  26. In your opinion being someone that analyzes drafts and players, can you name another qb in the nfl that has had to deal with possibly the worst oline, receiving corp, and defense in the same season and was highly productive? It’s pretty lazy to have Richardson’s draft grade better than fields when Richardson couldn’t even dominate cfb with a talent advantage over most teams he played including Vanderbilt.
