  1. What golf shoes would you recommend for conditions in Thailand? Breathable for the heat or waterproof for the rain?

  2. This is an excellent video – as a golfer living in Thailand you've covered pretty much everything. All I'd add is that if you play some of the cheaper to mid range courses, it's not unusual to be stuck behind a six ball (yes, that's right, a six ball). Thai golfers like to play in big groups so they can gamble and spend a morning with their mates. Also, letting people through isn't really a thing. Don't freak out about it – it's just the way it is here. Instead, just ask your caddy to drive your cart around them and they will. As you pass the six ball, just smile at them and continue your round. The caddy will drive you back to the hole you missed at the end of the round and you can play it.

  3. I wouldn’t be able to handle getting roasted for my poor play by my tiny Thai lady caddy in a bonnet 😂

  4. Before covid Golfdigg application was working pretty well. It offered quite nice discounted tee times. Last summer I could hardly find any good offers on it. Do you know anything about it? Is there any alternative application?

  5. I have actually changed caddie after nine holes one time in Thailand 😂 had a feeling after one hole that she did’nt wanna work that day. It was in Bangsai, nice course and very cheap. A little north of Bangkok.
Always enjoy ur videos Matt 😁

  6. What do you do for work? Are you considered an Ex Pat over there? Are you just living off of Youtube money? Very curious if you were rich before you moved there?

  7. I would also download a translation app as the caddies dont usually speak much English. I generally play as a single over there and my Thai isnt upto speed yet so being able to have a chat during the round makes it more fun.
