Luke Donald spoke at the 2023 PGA Championship about the recent resignation of several notable DP World Tour veterans after being assessed fines from the tour stemming from participating in LIV Golf events. Donald was also named to replace the original European Ryder Cup Captain Henrik Stenson, who was one of the players that resigned from the DP World Tour.

Shame they were economically forced to resign from DP World. If Zach Johnson doesn't pick Dustin Johnson, Brooks and Gooch he letting politics pick his team.
