Gordie is a smart man, needs to stay around
Moneyball you have to be joking. Hook buys some old guys that are super cheap because they are old has-beens and the game is much faster now these players don't have hidden value and he calls that him playing money ball – LOL. Moneyball is about finding value in players that are hidden/underpaid contracts the Dolphins are probably the best example of this right now.
Having Hunt on a huge contract also doesn't shout Moneyball logic. If you want to play Moneyball Dragons I'd suggest you let Hunt run out the door after hook and recruit Tridle & Connor Tracey from the Sharks ASAP and give Taric Simms a phone call because some of the anti-local trash recruitment needs to be undone and that wouldn't be a terrible start for Moneyball framework. No giving a 5 yr contract to rookie coaches.

Gorden Tallis just a good honest straight shooter with real insight and more knowledge of the game than he is given credit for. Commands respect and not scared of anyone. Guys on this page clearly rate him. A lot less yelling without Kenty, others get to have a say.
Sacking the coach wonβt change anything, our players just flat out not good enough. The dropped balls, constant dumb errors, and stupid penalties are hardly Griffinβs fault. Feel sorry for him, I wish him all the best
