you didnt talk about the RBs and LBs, Stover looked good to me, he is build well, what do you think of SWD and reggie powers? edit: big love from Portugal
Sort of hard to judge players without the pads on. These type of camps are titled towards the skill position types who operate in space. If you're a physical RB whose strength is breaking tackles, shrugging off defenders and "falling forward", a camp like this won't highlight your strengths. Same goes for run blockers, TEs and WRs who are great at blocking, etc. Still, you can figure out who is shifty and who has great hands or a great arm.
Underwood looks like he can be the next Deshaun Watson/Caleb Williams if he goes to OSU to get developed by Ryan Day. If he goes to Michigan he will probably be the next Denard Robinson and they will squander his talent because they will only take advantage of his physical athletic ability without developing his throwing game, just like JJ.
While I agree with Bill Green about recruiting the best of the best, the big guys are different in that they generally like to stay closer to home. BTW, the Armstrong brothers' feet & quickness haven't quite caught up to their recent gains in the weight room & it's really hard to judge linemen in a camp setting w/o pads.🤷🏾♂🤷🏾♂
Bryce Underwood is an unreal talent and as good as his highlights look he is even better in person. He has won back to back Class 1 state titles and is only a sophomore. He has a highlight at a 7 on 7 game where he hits a td off a no look pass. MaxPreps National freshman of the year and he is playing top level teams and talent in Class 1. Northwestern QB Sullivan played at Davison who won the state title in 2019, Edwards at scum RB his team won it in 2020, Carrs grandson ND commit is at Saline also class 1. Underwood carves up every team and is no where near the level of potential he has and I hope Day and Dennis can get him to commit to OSU. He is a can’t miss player
Bank I agree and I have been saying for over a year that Underwood will be the number 1 overall prospect. He lead Belleville to their only 2 state titles in school history and he will win 4 straight
