It's unfortunate that the "restricted plane" adjustment regarding Mandatory paths has not been reversed or repealed. I still cannot understand the logic behind this adjustment. I would appreciate having it explained as to what this rule is supposed to accomplish, protect, or prevent. The previous ruling that getting legally past the mandatory point, period, was so simple and logical. It seems to me to be an unnecessary regulation that complicates a rather uncomplicated situation. Plus, since this rule was first put into effect last year I personally have not seen a single tournament (as a participant or a spectator) lay down a line or marker emanating from a mando object or point that would necessarily define that mysterious plane, so no judgement call could ever be confidently upheld if the disc's lie was in question.
I think the last rule change sucks. If you want to ball a disc up, you should be able to do it. All those discs people bought for this specific reason, now have something useless.
I suggest two new rules… 1. No human that has a wee wee will be allowed to play in the FPO division 2. If anyone with a wee wee tries to play in the FPO, see rule #1 above
Is it that I'm too early in the comments, or am I the only one that clicked on this thinking it was about to address the FPO decision in California this past weekend?
